Chapter 71 A Second Chance
It was surprising that old Mr. Webster welcomed Janet in.
Looking at how calm Janet was, Nathaniel had mixed feelings.
"Mr. Webster, would you please wait here? Old Mr. Webster's condition is not so good, and he can't afford to be pissed off again."
Albert was sensible. He didn't want to see any conflict between Nathaniel and old Mr. Webster, so he emphasized old Mr. Webster's poor condition, trying to let Nathaniel realize that Nathaniel had done some wrong.

Lowering his head, Nathaniel became silent.
As soon as Janet stepped into the villa, she saw old Mr. Webster sitting on the huge balcony, the crystal coffee table in front of him had brewed fragrant tea, and the steam was slowly rising, while he was looking up at the starry sky.
Perhaps it was out of guilt, Janet felt that old Mr. Webster looked extremely lonely.
