"What.. is that..??"

....

"Mother! Father!!... Nooooo!"

A good looking sixteen year old boy with a curly dark hair, blue bright eyes, and a soft white skin suddenly found himself on an hospital bed. He was panting heavily and he kept on sweating profusely.

Beside him was the vital indicator making a beeping noise to his ears, but it had momentarily stopped as Xin calmed himself down.

"Where am I?' Xin said as he noticed that where he was, was unfamiliar to him. The place wasn't really an hospital, it was like lab. It was a laboratory where experiments and other scientific test were taken.

He could see a lot of testubes and burettes placed on a table a few metres away from him and the containers contains different liquids with multiple colours.

"What is this place? This is not something our scientist are allowed to do in our kingdom. Then who had had the gut to go against the law and even bring me to witness it. That person must be out of his mind."

Suddenly though, the door of the lab was opened and a fat middle-aged man came inside the room. The man was starting to have a few grey hairs on his head but it was still unnoticeable.

"I really can't believe this. You're finally awake!" The man jumped up in excitement, his carelessness almost broke a few cornical flasks.

' So he is the scientist that brought me to his lab? How could he bring a whole prince into a place like this for treatment? He must be crazy.'

"Why did you bring me to this place." Xin challenged the man.

"Oops.. Silly me. I should have called your parents first."

"What?!" Xin flashed at the man.

' How could he call the King and the Queen a parent.' Xin laughed sinisterly, thinking of how the man will soon be dealt with by the palace guards.

"Just wait here, I'll soon be back with your parents." The man dashed out of the lab and shut the door behind.

"What is wrong with this old folk. He must have a death wish upon himself." Xin protested before slumping back into the bed. "I won't go anywhere. I'll wait here till father and mother arrives."

Xin was silent to himself for a while but something kept on bothering his mind.

"A dream? It couldn't be a dream. Everything felt so real and..." Xin turned to look at his left wrist. "I saw this watch in my dreams and here it happened to be on my hands. In the dream, father never allowed me to touch it but I had took it just to save him from his brother. And here it is in my hand."

At that very moment, the door of the lab was opened again and four people came inside with tears on their faces.

There was a man who seemed to be in his forties and a woman who is in her thirties, then a young girl who looks a lot like Xin and seems to be the same age as him was standing beside the scientist who completed them as four.

"Oh my Xin. I'm so sorry for what I did. I'm really sorry." The woman pleaded as she moved closer to Xin.

Xin was confused on who these guys are. The scientist said he wants to call his parents, then who are these ones crying and weeping like a plant in a rain.

As the woman drew closer to Xin, he kept on shifting to the side of his bed, trying to avoid the woman's hands.

' Don't..don't come near me.' Xin screamed in his head but unfortunately, her hands had touched his soft, white skin and Xin who had never experienced himself being touched aside from his parents and the palace guards couldn't help but scream in anger.

"Get away from me!!"

The woman backed down and her teary tears became more pouring than before.

"Oh no, I made Xin hate me more than before. Now he doesn't wants me to touch him." The woman cried.

"I think it's best if you leave him alone for now." The scientist said as he escorted the two couples out of the lab, leaving only the young girl with Xin.

After they had left, Xin then sit up on his bed as he tend to look at the young girl beside him.

' It looks like Xinny, only that she have her hair dyed blue.' Xin thought as he stared at the young girl and the girl had also stared back at him.

"What's with the stare." Xin finally said. "Who ordered the scientist to bring me to this place?"

The girl was puzzled, she didn't understand what Xin just said.

"What scientist?"

"The fat man that left just now, isn't he a scientist." Xin replied.

The girl then moved closer to Xin as she took a look at the watch that was in his hands.

"What is this, who gave it to you?"

"Err.. Have you forgotten what it was?" Xin asked, feeling a bit surprised by Xinny's attitude.

"I don't know what it is, tell me what it is."

"How could you forget. It is the watch that father created for me but bid me not to wear it." Xin answered.

The girl had a conspicuous look on her face and had grabbed Xin's arm only to drop it back Instantly after realizing that what she was looking for wasn't on Xin's arm.

"What's going on?" Xin inquired.

"You're not him? You're somebody else." The girl replied dejectedly.

"Im not who?"

"You're not Xin, at least not the Xin I know."

"What do you mean I'm not Xin? My name is Xin, I am the prince of the Erica kingdom, my father and mother are the king and queen respectively and I have a twin sister whose name is Xinny and that is you."

"I'm not your twin sister!" Xinny flashed back at Xin. "I mean, you are Xin but Xin from another kingdom."

Xin was loss of words, he actually do not know what to do again. But then, he had started laughing like a crazy man.

"Oh my God, Xinny you're killing me with your jokes. You've started again. How could I be another Xin when I'm here with you." Xin said, laughing but he noticed that the jokester wasn't laughing, which was a first for Xin.

"What's wrong, did something happened?" Xin asked, feeling a little bit embarrassed.

"You have his face but you still are not him. This world is different from the world you came from. We don't have a kingdom here, it is a country, the country of Erica. Yes I'm Xinny but I'm not a jokester. My parents are poor and none of them ever told me that they're royalty. Even if they tell me that, I won't believe. My twin brother is not as jovial as you are, he is always a cry baby and a weak level one ability user."

"Level one ability user? What does that mean??"

"You see, you don't have abilities in your world while we have here. We are able to control fire, water and other stuffs like that but upon seeing your ignorance on what a level one ability user means, I concluded within me that you don't have something like that in your World."

"In our world?"

"Yes, you came from a parallel world."

"What?!" Xin jumped up. "So everything is real!"
