Levi

Levi looked up in the sky and after taking in a deep breath he looked down again at the black metallic cauldron in front of him.

There was boiling water in the container, the stream was raising from it. The grass below the container also started to shrivel up visibly showing the temperature of black metal.

Levi was an average joe with only a little brother, he was tweeny this year and worked at the Village Cheif's manor as a servant.

His work was relatively easy compared to other servants as his duty was to cut vegetables in the kitchen.

His little brother's name was Tim and he was seventeen years old, he also worked at the manor as a vegetable cutter.

Life was very simple for the two mortal guys, not like Village Chief and his decedents who train and cultivate tough magic daily. And Levi accepted his life since he came to this world from earth.

About two years ago he transmitted from earth into this new world filled with magic where nothing was impossible.

He learned that his father left them when they were very young and his mother died few years after his father left.

He was only ten years old back then, and since then he worked hard and continued to help his little brother's growth.

Now as Tim is also independent and earns his own money Levi is a bit relaxed.

He didn't know what caused the death of the previous owner, he just suddenly woke up in this body one day and didn't remember the events of the previous few nights.

In his previous life, he was a carpenter and loved his job, he died because of a deadly virus epidemic and got transported to this world.

'I wonder if everyone who died by that Virus got reincarnated?'

Levi looked at the lavish ceiling of the manor and then dismissing the thought he continued to cut some radishes.

Today was the day he will get his salary, which was two silver coins per month.

Village Chief of the Red Sand Village is a Grade two mage and that is the reason why anyone who works at his manor earned this decent salary.

Working at the Manor was a dream job for many people of Red Sand Village and the surrounding Villages too.

For Village Cheif money made out of metal didn't matter as all he cared about was Magical Crystals, the currency of the magic world and that was the reason why he was so generous with his money.

After his work, Levi and Tim went straight to the Treasurer and got their salary.

Tim looked very happy with the money in his hand and Levi looked at his little brother and it made him smile as well.

After their first shift was done, they moved to the servant quarters and went to their respective room.

As Levi closed the wooden door he took in a deep breath and with an excited expression moved toward the bed. Lifting the mattress he pulled out a big pouch of coins that he has collected in all these years.

There were a total of two Gold coins and many coppers coins in the pouch. These two gold coins were his savings of ten plus years.

Village Cheif always promoted learning magic in his manor, but it didn't come cheap. For a fundamental magic scroll, he charged two Gold coins.

Anyone could purchase it from the treasurer and could learn magic and there have been examples where some servants had very good talent and after that Village Cheif sponsored their studies in the Magic Academy.

Village Chief's kids studied at Abronrore, School of Arcane and along with them also the three servants that got lucky with their talent.

All in All Levi's life was going pretty smoothly to the date, however, just as he was remembering his lucky life a voice resounded in his mind.

"The Lucky Card of Reincarnation has activated!"

Levi panicked from the sudden voice, however, soon found out that the voice was coming from his mind.

He looked in his front and a Glowing Golden card was floating in front of him. Before he could make out the words written on the card another mechanical voice resounded.

"Bzz. Bzzz... the card has some kind of glitch... Trying to repair... Repair Failed...! The Card has GONE TO FREEZE MODE!"

"EMPLOYING NEW SECONDARY CARD! THE LUCKY CARD OF SEDUCTION IS ACTIVATED!"

"THE CARD INCREASES HOST'S LUCK WITH OPPOSITE SEX BY TWENTYFOLD! IT ALSO PROVIDES A COSMIC PURIFICATION FILTER!"

Before Levi could fathom the first line the whole single-sided conversation got bombarded on him.

After Calming himself down he arranged all the new information he got in his head.

"Golden card Failed? And what is this Card of Seduction? And this Cosmic Purification Filter?"

He tried to ask some questions to the voice however received no answer.

Just as he was about to try asking again, the noise of door banging resounded in his room.

"Brother, Open the door! it's me!" Tim's voice came from outside.

He sounded out of breath.
