"I know you all are surprised to see me in my husband's stead, who you all know as King Alex." The Queen paused for a while and continued. 

"The King is currently sick. Though the royal doctor has been treating him and also gave a strong asssurance that he will get better soon. So for the time being, I will stand in his place till the king gets better and recovers fully. 

"Since the king is sick, maybe his reign might soon be over. You should call the princes home, so we can pick the heir and crown our next king." The head of officials fired rudely to the queen. 

"There is no need for that. The king is still bodily strong and capable to rule his people as he did in time past. He is just down with some sickness but will recover soon. So I will stand in the gap and nothing will change that! " The royal queen fired back sternly at the head official who confronted her earlier.
