Emilia asked, "Why were you stealing food??"

The boy sharply replied, "You nobles love life with pleasure and even throw the food which doesn't suit your taste, but we commoners and slaves don't even get your thrown food so I had to..."

Emilia being quick witted understood what he meant perfectly and suddenly she started to think something.

"Can I know your name?", she asked.

"I am..."

He suddenly saw some guards running towards thiplave so he just jumped off the wall and ran away.

"Eh!!? Wait..."

"..."

"Sigh..."

Emilia sighed because she wasn't able to know his name. She was about to return towards the palace when suddenly she saw a few guards running towards her.

"Young princess...huff huff."

A young and dashing man came running and was panting heavily.

"You shouldn't disappear like this young princess... hus majesty is looking for you... huff huff..."

He had yellowish hair with some white mixed into it. The princess noticed that and realised that he was mine other than Rhonial who fought and lost his life in a rebellion that would be soon uprising again by the commoners.

So she was happy as he was a very hardworking and honest knight.

"Did Emi make some mistake? Emi is Sorry waaaa..."

Rhonial immediately got tensed up.

"No not at all princess! You didn't! This is... please stop crying..."

"Booo... waaa..."

She was just acting after all she knew that no one could possibly scold her since she was just 5 years old on top of which it was her birthday today!

"P-princess, we should head back... please stop crying... please forgive me...."

Emilia slowly calmed down and stretched out her hands.

"Huh? Princess?"

"Emi Wants you to carry Emi! Or else Emi won't forgive you!"

He slowly lifted her and started to walk towards the palace party hall again.

Emilia acted to be calm and smiled all the time and they finally reached the hall. She safely got down from his arm and walked towards king Alex who was still talking with someone.

"Papa, Emi is back!"

He looked at her and smiled and then again started talking to the person.

("Uhhh!!! What has happened to Father? He has been talking with someone... who is he?")

She peeked a bit from the corner to try and see who was the person chatting with him and could finally see him.

("Wait... golden lion signia just like Father... with small beard... a scar on his face... it can't be right...!!!")

In the kingdom there were only 2 more people who had the power to overthrow the royal family and challenge Alex.

One of them was called Robin Von Sipruz who was an extraordinary person in terms of money. He had immeasurable amount of money. Even the total money of the entire continent couldn't be compared to his.

However he was a quiet person who didn't involve himself with any political matters even though he was Alex's younger brother.

The other person was a much more competitive type of person who was kind hearted for his people and cold hearted and merciless to his foes. He was none other than William Von Sipruz who was right now standing in front of Alex and talking with him.

William was just a step brother of Alex but regardless of that he was elder. So many wished that William was to become the next King, however William himself put his name out of the political fight since he wanted to serve the kingdom in war fields rather than just sitting inside in a protected castle.

All the wars he had went were resulted with victories. But right now there wasn't a reason for such a man to visit during a party.

But after looking at their expression it seemed as if it was some serious issue.

She slowly walked close toward Alex in order to hear their conversations.

She came too close to Alex due to which he suddenly turned and stared at her.

"Papa, Emi Wants you to carry her..."

He fulfills her wish since it was her birthday and carries her in his arms.

William notices her but turns a blank eye to her. Both of them start talking again about the disease that was being caused due to the deaths of many people in the surroundings.

Many kingdoms waged war and after the war millions of death bodies are found. Due to that they dispose the body in rivers or just dump them in the soil below without giving them a proper burial.

Also some used to burn their bodies which created a lot of heavy smoke which cause irregularities too and that's why some strange and unknown disease started to spread near the border areas of the kingdom.

Many of the people were dying and more deaths lead to the infection spreading even faster which could strike even the heart of the kingdom.

The poor peasants and the slaves didn't have much money nor any aids due to which they were targeted the most like the slaves who were in a much more worse condition.

No one knew the exact cause of the disease nor did they know a way to cure them and that was the point of discussion happening between William and Alex.

They were in dire need to sending some troops for the protection of the border but the soldiers were afraid of the diseases!

Also the food had gone scarce in the border area due to which many people tried to move towards the capital and centre parts of the kingdom. This could have led to a mass spread of disease even if a single person were to reach the place.

Emilia was listening to everything that was being said. This was something which did happen in the past life but that time Emilia was too small to even remember it so she had only heard from rumours and read it from the book.

And that was why she knew the cure to the disease.

"Papa... Emi knows the cure for the disease..."
