Chapter 14

Issabell walked away to pay the bill, while we got up from our seats ready to call it a night . An upset frown on my face, I blankly walked ahead, handing Tae Jun his jacket. He told me to 'keep it', but I just pushed it into his hands. I didn't want to cause more trouble, I told my heart. Jin oppa followed behind me, his arm wrapped around Tae Jun's shoulder while Hyun was taking a call.

subsequently, as we stood outside the restrudant, I felt someone's weight on my back. The person had pressed his front against my back for support as they wrapped their arms around my waist, resting their head against mine, enclosing me in a back hug. On any other day, my body would react violently and me showing off my blank belt would be always the first thing I would do. But for some reason, My body reacted quite unviolently , and I just froze. I could hear the conversation between Jin and Tae oppa pause as they both glared at my direction their eyes wide. I turned my head side ways to get a glimpse of this mistry man, and saw none bug an utterly recognizable face.

"Noah!!", I whispered yelled as my lips curved into a perfect smile. A warm feeling took over me as I snuggled closer to him feeling the oxcitocin produce .

He had a over sized blue hoodie which said 'vivi e lascia vivere', in black cursive letters, with black sweat pants, his black coat and skeachers. His locks laid messy on top of his head, his nose a shade of Crimson because of the cold.

" heyyo kid", he whispered in my ear, sending chills run down my spine. The two guys walked towards us, issabell following short . By now I even had hyun's attention, as he discontinued his conversation.

"hey Noah", issabell greeted him, giving him a side hug as he finally let go of me. "hey sis, didn't know you were here", he said, acknowledging the presence of the trio band. They offered him a polite smile. "oh they are the band I am touring", Issabell said in their direction. "hi guys", Noah them a glance, and they replied in monosyllabuls.

All of a sudden the air around us got uncomfortablely awkward. " Noah, how come you knew we were here? ", issabell asked breaking the ice. "oh, uhh I... Ummmm snapchat", he replied, staring blankly at me. "and why are you here?", I asked, dumbfounded. "ehhh, rude much", he said throwing me a little punch on the shoulder. I stumbled back. Not because of his force. But maybe because of his touch?.

"u taught me well", I snapped back at him. " I was busy okay, it's not to run a business you know,", he boasted. " how would I know", I replied bitterly.

What is up with me.

Guilt??

" what is with the attitude, my sister gave you a hard time didn't she", he said coming closer yet again and patting my shoulder.

Why is he so touchy?!.

"anyway, I am going to be out for a bit", he said. "whattt!, where are you going now", I asked. " veitnam, I'll be back in a month or two", he told.

"A month, hmph,..... okay", I said. " u want me to get something for you", he asked, hopeful. "get me what is best there, something that reminds you of me", I said, utterly satisfied with my answer. "and the ambiguous answer of the year goes to maple of knowhere ", he said.

"You really thought I was going to make it easy for you, huh", I said proud. To be honest this was my work kink. Being mysterious was a gift from my childhood and phycology classes thought me how to take in riddles. " you need anything sis" Noah turned to  issabell now. "oh wow, I really thought I was invisible", she said. Noah laughed. "  I am good thank you, just be back before my honeymoon", she said. "I will", he said hugging me good bye after his sister and bowed to the three confused awkward gentlemen.

Seeing His tall figure walking away, had me deep in Nostalgia. " brother be sure to cheak your whatsapp, there is a list, you'll know what to do, don't disappoint me", she yelled to him across the street. We could hear his distant laugh as he cheaked his phone.

Jinja this girl knows how to rob people. But I agree. She has every right to have his brother spend money on her.

"be safe!!!", I added.

"I will", to which he replied, showing off his dimpled smile. The same smile that I fell for decades ago.

To my surprise he came running towards us. 'What did he forget something?? '.

Panting he took of his coat and put on my shoulder grinning like an idiot. His actions never failed to make me smile.

Though what he did next surprised me, no correction - Surprised us. He gave my left cheek a little peck and said "I'll miss you may", before running away. His lips were stone cold but now I was heating up.

Never in our 6 years of friendship did he ever did this. We avoided skinsship at all times possible but from The past few weeks, he.... He has been continuing to go against our little unsaid, non existant line.

Ugh he left me yet again, doubting my feelings.

I always thought that he was the one for me.

I always thought we were soul mates.

Yet, even in my dreams we were only a beautiful possibility.
