“Virgo!” I heard Asher’s voice as soon as I walked towards the exit of the place where you get your baggage.
He was holding a sign that read: “Virgo welcome to Italy!”
I smiled before running to him – carrying baggage that seemed to weigh a ton. I hugged him tight, “I missed you, weird guy.”
He smiled as we broke our hug, “I’m glad you’re back! It’s a good thing your husband-.” I interrupted him before he could finish, “We’re divorced now.”
His smile drops, “I’m sorry about that.” I pat his head before shaking my head, “You didn’t know, it’s fine.”
“That’s so quick though, are you sure-?” I nodded my head. “Let’s stop talking about depressing stuff already, why don’t you show me around?”
“Let’s go to your hotel first, I don’t know how long you were staying so I just booked a few nights in a 5-star-hotel,” he smiled proudly. “You can max out 90 days out of your US citizenship as your visa though,” he said smugly.
