Chapter 6: Intermediate and Advanced Baits

Some minutes later ~

It was the same animation that was displayed while fishing with the beginner baits. 

The only difference the Beginners Bait has to the Intermediate seems to be that the Intermediate one looks more luxurious than the Beginners one.

It didn't take long before Izuku once again caught something.

Since Izuku bought two baits simultaneously, it also meant that two stars left the star-filled lake at the same time. 

After the stars left the lake, the animation once again vanished instantly.

The next thing Izuku knew were two messages that popped up at his system interface.

[Congratulations, you used two Intermediate baits and successfully fished: Rejuvenate Medicine (1 year) and Any Door(15Use).]

[Rejuvenate Medicine (1 year): The consumer will get one year younger.]

[Anywhere Door(15Use) (Doraemon World): A pink door that opens a portal to the user's demand. Think about the location you want to go to and open the Door. The portal will lead to the other's location. This Version has 15 Uses. As long as the Door is open, it only counts as one use, but if it is closed, the count goes down. The user must have visited the spot he wants to set the portal at.]

After Izuku got this message, he couldn't help but gasp out of shock. 'What are these things?! Don't they sound a bit too ridiculous?!'

Seeing Izuku being so shocked, Nejire couldn't help but ask what he got. "What did you get, Izuku? Anything nice? Looking at you, it should be something good! Maybe an Intermediate Strengthening pill? Or some better Sea King food!! Maybe even a Devil Fruit? No Devil Fruit for only 500$ sounds wrong for some reason. Tell me! Tell me!"

"Well. No Devil Fruits. It's two new things, by the way. The first is named Rejuvenate Medicine (1 year), and as long as somebody consumes it, the person will get one year younger." Izuku said, bringing Nejire and Inko to a stop.

"Wait. One year younger? Do you mean if we have enough from them, we won't die?" Nejire asked with some surprise and interest.

"This should be possible. At least we wouldn't die of old age." Izuku answered with some doubt himself.

Looking back at his mother, he could already see the stars forming in her eyes. Taking out the medicine bottle, he stood up and put it into his mother's hand before sitting himself once again beside Nejire.

Inko didn't bother to ask if he didn't want to keep that medicine himself since she knew it wouldn't do any good for an eleven-year-old boy, so she opened the bottle and instantly downed it.

After the bottle was completely empty, Inko could feel something weird entering her body when the medicine vanished inside her mouth. 

It felt so refreshing. 

Without noticing, some of the last year's appearing folds disappeared instantly.

"Wow. It really feels refreshing!" exclaimed the now one-year-younger Inko with some happiness in her voice. 

Who wouldn't want to be younger if they had the chance?

Nejire was also surprised when she looked at the more energetic mother of her new best friend.

"So what's the other thing you got?" Nejire asked with some expectations in her voice.

"Anywhere Door from the Doraemon World," he said, waiting to see if either of the two knew the world from where the item comes from.

Seeing that nobody seemed to know, he described the effect of the Door.

After the effect was said, the two of them now knew why Izuku was so shocked when he opened this thing. 

It was too abnormal.

"Wait. Doesn't that mean we can visit all the time if we don't close the Door?" Nejire asked excitedly.

"Oh! Yes, that could work! But I have to come to your home before setting up the Door since I have never been to your house until now!" Izuku answered happily.

"Alright. You can come with me later! We can have so much fun in the future! We can visit every day. We can also watch One Piece together! Playing together won't be a problem either." Nejire said happily, already imagining what they could do all the time.

Izuku was also happy that he could visit his new friend from now on, but it didn't hinder him from using the fishing rod again. 

He was already too excited today and wanted to finish fishing quickly.

This time, he will fish with the advanced bait on the line.

Some minutes later, with Nejire's nonstop comments, the last thing for the day was about to appear.

[Congratulations, you used an advanced bait and successfully fished the rare drop: one small vial of Felix Felicis.]

[Felix Felicis (Harry Potter World): Felix Felicis, also called "Liquid Luck," is a potion that makes the drinker lucky for a period of time, during which everything they attempt would be successful. It turns an ordinary day into an extraordinary one.]

Izuku couldn't help but exclaim. "Woww. The Harry Potter World is real!"

"Harry Potter?" Nejire asked with some doubt before Inko answered, also excited.

"Harry Potter is an old movie that also came from the Pre-Quirk Era. It is my and Izuku's favorite movie. We saw it by luck once, and since then, we have re-watched it a dozen of times!" Inko said excitedly before starting to mutter. "Maybe there are even other things from the Harry Potter world in there? Could we get magic in the future? That would be so nice?! You didn't even need to clean the dishes after eating!" Inko muttered in front of Nejire at a quick pace.

While Nejire looked at her with wonder in her eyes, she turned around and saw Izuku doing the same as his mother at the moment. He named all the things the Harry Potter World could give him and how he could use them.

Nejire couldn't stop herself from laughing, bringing the two of them out of their mode.

"Haha. It can be seen how you are mother and son. It's so funny." She said happily as the two of them flushed red.

"Anyway, what does the potion do?" Nejire couldn't help but ask.

"Taking it makes your whole day lucky," Izuku answered without missing a beat.

"Well. That is useful! Can you use it to fish? Can you win the lottery with that potion? Is it only good luck or also bad luck? Like, you're so lucky that a meteor hits you on the head?!" Nejire said, bringing Izuku and Inko to a laugh.

"Never mind that. Let's leave for your house so I can install the Door!" Izuku said happily, not bothering to think about the potion anymore. 

He will surely use it in the future, but for now, it's really useless for him.
