"What's the craziest thing that has ever happened to you?" asked a friend of mine in the classroom. I remember how curious he was, always seeking interesting stories to share. As I walked alone through a dark forest, lost in thought, my friend's words echoed in my mind.
"Well, I once saw a ghost in the kitchen of my house when I was a child," I murmured to myself. In that solitary moment, enveloped by the darkness of the forest, memories of that incident resurfaced. I was around 9 or 10 years old at the time, and the image of the woman in white in the kitchen was still vivid in my mind.
As I recalled that chilling encounter, a shiver ran down my spine. "I'm not sure if it was just fear or my vivid imagination, but I'm absolutely certain that I saw that woman in white in my house's kitchen that day."
The darkness of the forest seemed to intensify the memories, and I found myself transported back to that frightening moment. My cautious steps echoed as I continued to walk, lost in my thoughts. It was as if time had stood still, and I once again stood before that mysterious figure.
After that incident, I was afraid for a long time. Every shadow in the kitchen, every noise at night, reignited my childhood fear. However, as time passed and I grew older, I managed to overcome that fear and concluded that it was probably just my imagination running wild due to the darkness in the kitchen at that time.
I thought that would be the craziest thing that had ever happened to me. However, in that somber and solitary moment in the forest, my memories took a different turn. "But, you know, being reborn after dying in a police chase definitely surpasses all of that," I whispered to myself, letting out a heavy sigh.
