THE BLOOD MOON

  [TOR]

Jin examined the sword in his hand closely, taking in the way it was forged, the gleam of the steel against the light, the strength of the material.

It was a perfect craft, something he could be proud of.

He smiled at Mei, "It's perfect" he said.

Mei beamed.

"I'm going to need a whole lot more though. Think you can handle that?"

Mei nodded, "Sure, I'll get right to it"

He gave her back the sword and left the forge. He had met with the base commander and they had agreed that he would go out with the next group. That would be in a week and he was currently trying to get in as much training as he could.

He stopped in a large field behind the castle where he was allowed to train without interruption. He brought up his hand and took a deep breath.

As he released it, a golden light began to encase his arm, covering the entirety of his hand till he couldn't bear to look at it.
