Next King?

Linda takes Edward back to her home, feeds him and makes him feel at home while her Alpha was not present there at that time. They chatted for a long time, and Edward shared with her, how alphas are being treated there by those betas. Her café was in the care of some trusted people so she did not went back to the café that evening. Later three alphas enter the house and all of them are wearing scent blockers on them so that their phenome, their scent can stay hidden. One of them is Linda's alpha in other words her husband and his name is Kyle. He is Edward's old friend, so they have a good bond.

All of them have an emotional time while reconnecting with each other and except for him there are two more alphas present there and both of them are of the same age and are the youngest alphas present there, One of them is Eric while the other one is Daniel. Daniel is basically Edward's alpha son for whom he was worried that did he survived or not.

The scenario here for Eric is the same as Jenna's, they have two friends one older and one of the same age and he is the only rare one in them and the others are just common alphas. The elders were meeting with each other both youngsters were just looking at them.

Right now Edward ask Linda about his son, and she just smiles and points at Daniel while saying "Your son", at first he did not believe her but seeing her facial expressions he walks towards Daniel and asks him in a requesting tone "son... can you... remove your scent blocker?".

Daniel looked at Linda who smiled and nodded as yes, and then he looked at Edward and in next few seconds he removed his scent blocker.

Edward gets really emotional by this and he runs to hug his son whom he left when he was just a little kid.

"Son... I am sorry... I am so sorry for leaving you that day but there was nothing else I would do at that time... to save you it was necessary..." Edward said while sobbing and hugging his son. He then moved a little back and cupped his son's face while pecking on his head and said in a sobbing tone "Please.. forgive your father.. can you?".

Daniel replied in a calm voice while holding his father's hands "Dad... it's ok... I know what happened and I don't blame you for any of that..." he kissed his father's hands softly and continued saying "and I am happy that u r back... back to me" he looked in his father's eyes and give a teary smile "welcome back dad" as he finished saying this Daniel's eye were full of tears too as it's been so long that he met his father, he was craving for his father's love all his life and now his father is standing in front of him.

Later after a few minutes, Edward's eyes landed on Eric and he asked "he...?".

Linda replied with a sweet smile " He... he is Eric... he is also an alpha, and his father was also caught with you guys. he is a shy kid, he never talks too much, but he is a lovely kid to be honest".

Edward went near him and softly removed his hair from Eric's eyes, as Eric kept his eyes hidden with his hair so that no one can look into his eyes directly, as if he is hiding something from the world. Eric's eyes shouts the dominance of being an alpha, he looks coldly at Edward.

"Is he his son?" Edward said.

Kyle asked "Whose son to be exact, brother?".

"Our late King" Edward replied.

Eric softly slaps Edward's hand away while speaking in a little cold tone "I don't know what you are talking about".

Edward said "You have the same looks and the same way of speaking... my dear, can you remove your scent blocker for a moment?" on this Eric just hold his blocker in a tight fist while looking at him, as he did not trust him yet, then he looked at others, others nodded as yes ensuring him that its save. By believing others he took a deep sigh and removed his scent blocker. As soon as he did it Edward's eyes widened in joy and he said in excitement "OUR NEXT KING!".

On this call Eric's eyes start glowing bright golden indicating that his alpha is now controlling his body, in the most dominant aura he replies "yes I am your next king". Here his aura completely changed, power was dominating itself in his tone.

Edward bowed to him "Of course, just like your father you will lead us to our happiness and freedom".

In reply, Eric's alpha first smirked in satisfaction then he just smiled softly while saying "Rise your head.. please... you are my elder".

Edward chuckles softly "your manners are even the same too, it will be my honor to serve you, my King".

"Eri.." Eric said.

Edward replied "what?".

"Eri... my name, as Eric's wolf and alpha".

Edward smiled and said "Nice to meet you again, son".

Both of them smiled at each other.

While others were left dumbfounded by all of this and after a few moments Kyle said in shock "How did I never notice that he can be our late king's son... just how".

On this Daniel said to himself "Because you are stupid and an idiot".

"huh! did you say something?" Kyle asked in confusion.

Daniel replied " no... nothing".
