Let move on

As soon as the Cocoon helmet had his consciousness, Yung Jae found himself floating in the void.

Cold and empty, there was no smell of anything, and everything was dark except a floating jumbo tron monitor showing a countdown time with video ads he created beneath it.

Yung Jae enjoyed the music and nodded with the irama. He even hummed the lyrics for a while. Everything was fine until the ads ended and changed to other ads.

Chae Wo singing.

Suddenly, his flowery face turned sour. He tried to move on, forgetting her, yet the system showed this.

Closing his eyes, Yung Jae blocked his ear. "Lalalalala." He yelled, blabbering, hoping to diminish Chae Wo's voice altogether. But no use. He sighed and gave up but kept his eyes closed.

He can't deny her voice was angelic. He remembered while they slept together on a rainy day when they were children. Their parents were gone on vacation, and everything was dark.

Back then, their house got blackouts.

Yung Jae hated darkness then and chose to sleep with her in her room. She embraced him warmly and sang a song to soothe him.

Yung Jae remembered. She whispered she would always love him and would stay together and protect him from the dark. She lied now. She lied.

She abandoned him for Lee Hodong.

But was that what she wanted? Was she going to be happy with that idiot CEO of Lee Tian Group?

Why did she agree to be his fiancee? Why did she agree to weed? Why was she following her father's order?!

Father pushed her to marry for a united two big company.

Why does she care about her father and the stupid company? Father was not even her birth father.

Now, Yung Jae thought it through thoroughly. He didn't know much about her. He knew her good side but not the other side of her.

Perhaps Chae Wo was after money, just like everyone else, just like her mother.

Chae Wo's mother was a nurse who helped Yung Jae's mother. After Yung Jae's mother passed away, Chae Wo's mother married Yung Jae's father—that gold digger scum, she could never replace Yung Jae's mother.

Yung Jae sighed, how low his mind could be…. Thought about her like that.

Even so, if Chao Wo goes for money, he still loves her. She was always an angel to him. He wanted her to be happy.

So, does she love that man or just after money? Yung Jae asked himself.

Whatever he thought, it ended up hurting himself even more.

He should move on. She should have thrown his love away for real.

Forgot about her and everything. She was just a step-sister, nothing more.

A soothing female voice rang in his ears. "Welcome to The World. Please be patient. The scanning process will end in three, two, one. Welcome Kang Yung Jae."

A fantasy music of harp and flute combined modern bash and guitar with piano was so loud echoed in the dark.

A gigantic monitor shone. A blue, red, and white neon pops up on the monitor. The creator panel prompted him to create a character.

At last, no Chae Wo voice.

There was another race than humans. The system showed what race it was.

"Oh wow, this is new."

During the CBT, only human races were available to play. Now, they introduced additional races for players to choose from.

"Let's see what you have for me." Yung Jae touched the creator panel to explore his options.

The World stretched like a canvas, a realm teeming with diverse life forms crafted from vivid imagination. The god had meticulously designed races, each with unique strengths and weaknesses, fueling your creativity and sparking your love for the game.

**HUMANS, the jack-of-all-trades, mirrored our natural world. With boundless potential, they could embrace any role they desired. However, the lack of mana and the inability to grasp Elvian magic or Furrian technology left them yearning. Their realm of influence lay in Eruromerisia, a sprawling territory filled with kingdoms and empires perpetually vying for supremacy.**

**ELVIANS, known for their elegant pointed ears, were the masters of magic and summoning. While they lacked physical endurance, their ability to summon Esper, mystical beings capable of almost anything, was their pride. Deeply connected to nature, they resided in enchanted forests, four kingdoms that were once divided but united under the High King.**

**FURRIANS, affectionately known as Furs, blended human traits with adorable animal tails and ears. Vulnerable yet endowed with profound technological prowess, they couldn't wield magic but donned formidable Battle Suit Mechas called Baja. However, the price of owning and maintaining these suits was steep. They prided themselves on democracy, with many nations standing together under the banner of the Union of Furnations.**

**NAGAS, humanoid dragon tamers, forged unique bonds with the mighty creatures of the skies. Lacking magic and advanced technology, they rode on the backs of dragons, a privilege none could contest. Hidden within mountain caves, they heeded the call of Elders, the wisest warriors who commanded colossal dragons. They respected power above all else and often worked as mercenaries for other races during the war.**

This captivating tapestry of races and realms breathed life into The World, a testament to the god's creativity and the boundless adventures awaiting you within its boundaries.

After reading through the descriptions, Yung Jae smirked. "The god vision, huh."

He contemplated how to mock the game creator but eventually settled for a smile. He can't find anything wrong, at least for now.

Yung Jae decided to stick with the Human race since he had always chosen humans in previous games whenever it was an option.

The character creation process began.

Unfortunately, he couldn't modify anything else about his character.

His mischievous side emerged, and he decided to try creating a female character, acting cute and even winking. "Onii-chan!" he said playfully.

"Oh god, I could become the most beautiful girl ever! What have I done?"

He suddenly felt a little queasy.

Before he decided which race to play, he sampled them one by one. Although he was tempted by the furry race's adorableness, reminiscent of his favorite character in Arknights, he ultimately chose to play as a Human.

For him, humans were always number one!

Then, he had the option to choose a name for his character, but since he wanted to leave his mark on the annals of history, he decided to use his name.

From the darkness, a girl's voice echoed. "Are you sure?"

"Please delete Kang's name from my profile."

"Understood. Is there anything else?"

"No. Thank you."

Yung Jae agreed, and two floating orbs appeared and scanned his entire body, down to his thighs, using facial and body detection.

The light transported him to another realm. A realm of Magic and Technologist,

The realm of The World, the first MMORPG, featured an immersive map of the entire Earth to explore.

Gradually, his vision returned to normal, followed by his hearing.

Then, an AI girl's voice resonated in his head. "Welcome to The World."
