Chapter 3: River

Author note:

I will keep count of the resurces of the MC, but i may make mistakes so don't expect extremely precise numbers or other.

So i will not always say an exact number, this will prevent errors.

After seeing that i am not limited on my work, i move to the next step.

The hud.

If i want to thrive on this world i need to know myself and my environment, so i look deeply at my body and move my eyes around, trying to see the hud but nothing.

So i just think about it and the classic Minecraft hud appears on the bottom of my vision.

With a though i move the hearts around with a smile, this means that i can personalize the hud however i want, with a though the hearts all merge becoming one, with a 100% writing next to it.

Handy.

I pinch my hand and the health didn't lower, and after applying more and more pressure the health lowered.

But that lasted for not even a second before turning full again, i take the sharpened stick and trust it towards my hand.

I know that this is reckless but i need to know how my body works.

With a quick and precise trust, i pierced my hand wich caused a wave of pain soon after, but i just ignored it and looked at the wound after removing the stick.

My health decreased but after a sec it begun to regenerate, this causing the injury on my hand to regenerate itself.

So it's a regeneration type.

In a second the injury disappeared at the cost of a unit of hunger displayed by some chicken legs.

I put the stick back into the inventory and walk towards the crafting table, i take four sticks and six oak planks and place them on the nine slots on the table.

I can do this physically or with the panel, if i want to craft secretly and faster.

In moments i crafted an axe and pickaxe, summoning the first on my hand i feel the weight and admire the craftsmanship.

I must admit that it's without flaws, it's as if it was made with a advanced 3d printer.

The weight it's realistic too but easily supportable with my strength.

Done with my analysis i immediately raise the axe on top of my head and with a focused gaze i chop the fallen tree trunk with all of my power.

The axe cuts deep inside forming some cracks around the area, i immediately yank it out with some force and continue with my work.

After chopping the rest of the logs with two swing for one i stop and take some breaths, this takes some stamina since it's reality, not a game anymore.

With now three more logs on my inventory i turn them all into planks and direct myself to the next tree, while glancing at the position of the sun.

Seeing it still on the top of the sky i nod, the time here it's the classic 24 hours.

I spent some time chopping trees around to gather wood, i decided to not turn them into planks after the second tree since i will need oak logs for a later purpose.

Nah I'm just lazy, but i really need them later.

After the boring working session, my hunger reached a low level, but with the various apples i have, that it's not a concern anymore.

What i love of this world is the food, those apples were the best ones i ever had, and i had plenty.

They were so tasty and juicy.

Their color varied too, from green, yellow, and red, the taste changed in correlation from the color, but i prefer the green ones.

While I'm walking on the forest near the plain i spawned into, something is following me for some time.

How do i know?

From the sounds, since this body is better than my old one in every way, that includes hearing.

And i know thanks to another detail too.

With that i look at the panel in front of me, yes, as a modder i obviously didn't forget the map function, and ohhh boy...

Did i spent time refining it.

This is the classic map, since i couldn't know what biomes will spawn since it was casual, i set the map to show only my surroundings and the path i took.

But since this is a real world, the map divided it into chunks like the game, and when i put my sight or foot inside a chunk, what is inside becomes completely visible on the map.

But only what i could see and not like x-ray. And If i don't have information about something i will only get a basic info about it.

Plants, food, ores and entities, they are colored differently like the usual, if an entity is hostile to me it will be shown as red, and darker the color is, the more dangerous that entity is.

If it's neutral, it will be gray, and as you already understood, green if it's friendy, and blue if i consider it an ally.

I can modify the map however i want so i deactivated some things, I don't want to be flooded by icons, like neutral animals.

This creature that is following me from some time it called 'Biwu' and what's a biwu?

I don't know much.

This is a real world, I don't know everything, but one thing is sure, the biwu icon is green, so i didn't put much thought into it.

Flowing water

I turn my head on the right and walk towards the water source, I'm thirsty and usually near water, there is rock.

Swush

I reach the stream of the river in a minute, and a smile forms on my face, this place is so beautiful.

The river flows with elegance with a pristine glow, while the trees and animals around give it a relaxing feeling, i like this place.

I look at the fishes with a hungry look and with thought i immediately sprint towards the river, my target clear.

My feet immerse themselves inside the water without interruption while i ran towards the nearest fish, but with my sudden appearance all the acquatic life escapes.

But i simply raise my hand where the sharpened stick appears and i trow it towards the fattest fish.

Splash

The stick pierces the fish head precisely granting it a quick and painless death.

"Gotcha!"
