Chapter 2 - Promises

"She says that your room smells like rotten fish because you never clean" The kid said with a seemingly cold expression, but Midnight could still see the small teasing smile on his little face.

"Y…you brat!" Midnight's face flushed red, even she couldn't help but blush about the situation but what could she do?

She was so busy with Pro Hero work that she barely had time to clean her room ever since they found out about this facility.

"Hahahaha…." Some heroes started laughing out loud upon seeing the scene while the atmosphere became way lighter which made Midnight even more embarrassed.

"Little one, I need to go" The child said as he picked the cat into his embrace and gave it a light smile.

*Meow*

The cat looked at him with a reluctant expression before licking his face despite the blood on it and jumped on Midnight's breasts which nearly made her yelp out of surprise before jumping on her shoulder.

Midnight was looking at the kid when it happened and naturally noticed the kid's eyes flash with a small smile before he walked after All Might.

'This brat!' Midnight gritted her teeth out of embarrassment, normally she was the one teasing someone, this was the first time the roles were reversed!

And by a kid no-less!

Midnight looked around her and saw the heroes around giving her teasing glances while laughing out loud, they could naturally tell how she felt.

"You all wanna die?!" Midnight burst out before disappearing and the heroes soon dispersed as the site was locked down by the authorities.

"Shounen, lets walk a bit faster" All Might said with a bit of sweat on his forehead, the kid looked at him before saying,

"Nobody is here except me, just transform into your normal body"

"Y..you, how do you know?" All Might's body froze as he looked at the kid with a serious expression.

"I know quite a bit, it isn't important as to how I know and neither do I plan on ratting you out since I could've simply told that old goat you were quite vulnerable at the moment" The kid said, his blood red eyes already changed back to an icy blue color which made his eyes nearly shine in the darkness and gave him a peaceful look combined with the small smile on his face that radiated kindness.

"Old….goat?" All Might asked in confusion.

"All For One" The kid's expression became distorted while his eyes showed clear hatred and even All Might's face became solemn.

"How much do you know?"

"A lot, I will give you the information that you desire for 3 promises" The kid said coldly.

All Might thought for a second but knew this could be a huge chance, if he got any useful information on All For One he might be able to catch him or atleast limit the number of further casualties and he could naturally refuse ridiculous promises if he crossed the line but the kid didn't seem that bad.

"Okay, I promise" All Might said, the kid explained everything from how he was raised until he was 6 by All For One who was able to tell his un-awakened quirk at the time.

"He was a father-figure to me all the way until I was 6 years old, when my quirk awakened, everything changed. My quirk is apparently something that can strengthen others, combine that with my second quirk…." The kid said with a mixed expression.

"You had two quirks since birth?" All Might asked in astonishment, such cases were incredibly rare and apparently Endeavor's youngest son had two quirks aswell.

"My second quirk is called Rapid Regeneration, a quirk All For One couldn't steal, for some reason he was unable to absorb quirks from me, however, he didn't need to in the first place…. Rapid Regeneration was able to regrow lost limbs in a matter of hours, it took them weeks of 'careful expirements' to find that out" The kid sneered while All Might's expression soured, he could naturally tell how they were able to find that out.

"Before I go into further detail, change back into your normal form because you look like you're about to fall over and die" the kid suddenly said, All Might sighed and with a *Poof* and some smoke, a thin, skeleton looking man appeared.

"What is your name kiddo" All Might sighed as he didn't raise his guard against the kid, he could clearly tell that the kid wasn't lying, although the kid wasn't naïve or anything like someone of his age, considering what he has gone through it wasn't much of a surprise.

"Laurens" The kid said without a change of his expression.

"A foreigner?" All Might asked in surprise.

"Just a name a I give myself instead of the name that bastard gave me" Laurens responded coldly.

"I see" All Might said, Laurens continued explaining what happened and what he knew.

"Creatures with multiple abilities?" All Might asked with a serious expression while clenching his fists tightly.

"Yes, somehow, they could grow stronger by eating my flesh….. After 3 years, you guys came" Laurens sighed with his small fists as he rubbed his head.

"I'm sorry shounen, for coming late" All Might apologized with a sincere look and bowed towards the child.

"It's fine, You're not god but that is the disadvantage of this society, heroes need to be perfect, flawless and have no weakness" Laurens smile with a mocking smile.

"Shounen, what are the promises you wanted me to fulfill?" All Might asked Laurens who looked at him and smiled lightly.

"Promise 1, A house within UA so I don't have to care about All For One all the time, I was dreaming about becoming a hero for a long time, after the endless torture, I just want to live out my life peacefully and do what I want" Laurens said with a bitter smile on his face.

All Might looked at the kid with a complicated expression before his eyes shone with a scheming light.

"Fine, under one condition" All Might said as he put up a single finger which caused Laurens to let out a disgruntled noise, "That wasn't the deal but fine"

"When you're of age, you will enter UA, as for living at UA, I will ask the principal, but it should be fine. However, you will be under supervision 24/7 for a while" All Might said with a smile on his thin body.

"That's okay, I will keep a promise for a later time so I will only use one more promise" Laurens said as a big nostalgic smile appeared on his face.

All Might was taken aback when he saw the kid smile so widely, it was such a pure smile that he wouldn't even dare to compare him to the kid who stood in the middle of those broken bodies.

"Lady Nagant, Kaina Tsutsumi, I want her…."
