2 Meaningless apologies

*sixteen years earlier, Y991"

"What you have done will never be forgiven" said a huge man standing over seven feet, with a stern, but calm full bearded face. He Wore a prestigious holy white armor with gold trimmings. If one was to sell this set they would live life on easy for several years. His long sword, expertly crafted with straight edge and a sharp look, the hilt embroiled with several majestic jewels which made the weapon seem better suited for ceremonies than bloodshed, but they say a battle to the death is a ceremony in itself.

"Maybe death is the only answer to this situation" replied a clean faced man rivaling the stature of his opponent. If the former's armor resembled light and virtue, this man's pitch black armor seemed to symbol the beginning of the apocalypse itself. His sword a heavy bulk of metal more blunt than sharp, but his shield which was fashioned after a skull was magnificent. His whole being extruded Impenetrable Fortress.

A slim girl with pale white skin and long blond hair lays on the ground with a gaping hole through her stomach, beautiful even in death. This death is overshadowed by men clad in decorative armor that one would instinctively bow if were to approach.

"Your life that I am about to sacrifice to this blade will not compensate for the death of my daughter, but I'm too fucking pissed to pay that any mind!"

White armor voice was deep and strong, but had a sorrowful undertone. As if his words and actions did not truly reflect his heart's desire"

"What I've done cannot be reversed or forgiven but..."

"No! no no NO fucking buts! All I want right now is your head."

Before Black Armor can speak his mind he is cut off mid-sentence. He looks at white armor as if he has completely given up hope of any chance of negotiation. A superb bright glow which purpose would seem to be the illumination of the dark stage brimmed from the sword of White armor, but sadly that light was aimed to cast a shadow on his opponent's life.

"Good bye...friend. Star fall!"

The man in white armor shouted at the top of his lungs as if to lead a symphony. His blade falls toward his opponent who braces for impact. As if gazing at the light at the end of the tunnel, black armor ends his struggle, but as soon as he made his resolve he witnessed a sinister aura. This feeling wasn't coming from his opponent who is about to take his life, but from deep within the darkness of the room. He instinctively slashes where he senses it.

From another point of view this would seem like a last failed attempt to survive, but the look in his face seemed satisfied. In the eyes of White armor that last move was the man's final struggle as he is sliced across his chest, and blasted through a window several stories up. Broken glass shimmers in the air and White armors face is reflected with one single tear.

As the victor looks out the window the man's body lays ever still and lifeless. White Armor proceeds to his daughter, lifeless on the ground. He finally has the chance to embrace her, and as he did the entire country heard a cry that shook the heavens. Time came to retrieve Black Armors remains, but surprisingly his body was not where it was last seen. A pool of blood was the only proof that death was present, but not even a trail was found. It was as if the man in black Armor was spirited away.

*Herring Village*

A dark figure standing on top a tall tree, looks over a village sleeping at night. Carrying what seems to be bundled fabric. Its eyes is set on a particular house, he jumps from the tree with little to no effort landing in-front of the door step. He puts the bundle down and places an item in it. Before he leaves he whistles an eerie tune and then departs like a shadow introduced to light.

A middle aged man opens the door in a hurry as if not to miss a spectacle. Only to be greeted by crying. He opens the bundle of Fabric to find a baby boy. This man is shocked and he frantically looks around to see who could've possibly left this child here. His face screams "why me" as he worries. He then noticed what was left behind, a chain with a strange material shaped like a dog tag with an engraved shield behind it. After seeing this the man's face has found resolution as he returns back into his home with his new found child.

Two kids can be seen running in a grassy yard, clear skies complimented with the bright sun. The two boys feet scurry one after the other, their slender legs, and cheerful laughter hints that they're no more than six years old. They race around the house and it's clear that one is much more athletic than the other. The boy in the back is panting as he slowly loses distance. Short Light brown hair falls on his face, skinny build and about four feet tall, he shouts at the kid in front "Hey That's not fair! This is my house you should let me win!"

The boy in lead stops and looks back confused. "Huh? What's the point of racing if I just let you win Sori?"

This boy unlike Sori was pretty fit for his age, slim but toned physique, black hair, he was a little over five feet, with fair skin that seen its fair share of tans, suggesting that he played outside a lot.

"That's not the point Acura, you are a guest here so you have to follow myyy rules!" Sori said this with a boastful look with his chest puffed out and a smirk on his face.

"Ok then let's play another game, you can pick this time" said Acura despite the fact that whenever these two played together Sori always chose the game. The next game chosen was tree climbing, which Sori lost in quite easily. Next up was hide and seek, Sori lasted about a minute as the hider. They then decided to see who can throw rocks the furthest, again Acura won and this made Sori extremely angry.

"I don't care you can beat me in games at least I have real parents!" Sori shouted with his face flustered red. Immediately he knew he said too much and anticipated Acura's reply.

"I'm sorry, I guess I should've let you win too since you were nice enough to play with me while my pops is out, I'll think of that next time." Acura looked Sori straight in the face and no malice or sarcasm could be seen. Sori genuinely felt bad acting out and receiving such an unexpected response.

"Acura you're such a weird kid. Why don't you get mad when people tell you bad things?"

"You didn't say anything bad, I may not know my mom or dad, but I have Pops and he's all I need." Acura says this with a big smile while looking at Sori.

"I already told you I hate when you stare at me with those creepy eyes"

"Well there's nothing I can do about my eyes, they've been like this from birth pops said, but I can see fine." Acura grins with a thumbs up towards Sori.

"Well forget that I know one game you can't beat me in."

"What game is that?" Sori sticks his hand out with his palm facing towards Acura. Sori displayed a sinister smile as traces of light traveled his arm to his head. Acura stunned didn't know what to do as he was shocked and confused.

"You better run Acura or imma getchya" with that warning Acura sprinted away as small blast of light flew pass him. Sori chasing behind laughed as he continued to shoot volleys of light after him.

"Sori what are you doingggg? Acura continued to run and dodge. 'This isn't a game anymore, this is just dangerous! and why can he use psych so well I can't do any of that no matter how hard I try' Acura thought to himself while escaping. He then saw the open door to the house and made a dash for it. 'If I get inside he'd have to stop or else he'll get in trouble!'

"Acura who gave you permission to go inside, that's off limits!" Sori increased the fire rate and compressed the size of the blast in efforts to prevent Acura from reaching the door. Then he suddenly Sori felt strange.

"Ugh I think I used to much psych I'm getting a headache" losing focus Sori shot one last blast at Acura hitting him in the back of the head flying him into the house.

"Acura you all right? I didn't mean to actually hit you...Acura?.....hey Acura can you..." Sori was cut off by a vase projectile hitting him square in the face and breaking.

"I'll kill you" a silhouette representing pure anger emerged from the house.
