Chapter 514: Relatives and Friends (Edited)

Fish entered the Forbidden Forest with a large group of people, including three other champions and their families.

"This is Fluffy, this is Buckbeak, this is Shadow.... Oh, you may not see it.... This is Lochlin, this is Celestia, this is Mork..."

Fish introduced his animal friends to the group, and all but Harry, Gabrielle and the Grangers, four of whom had seen them before, looked numb.

Few wizards, after all, could keep their cool in the midst of a crowd of XXX-level magical creatures.

Even the inhabitants of Hogsmeade had only occasionally seen Fish riding flying creatures, followed at most by a few, and this was the first time they had seen more than the entire town.

Especially Krum and Fleur's families, who had thought their children had a chance of winning when they knew they were ahead on points, but now it seemed... the chance was still there, but it was very low.

"Just do your best in today's match...."

The two parents addressed Krum and Fleur in Bulgarian and French respectively.

And after a moment's pause, Lady Estella tugged excitedly at Fish and asked, "Fish, can you help Auntie pick up some of the Fwooper feathers and unicorn tail hairs? I'll trade you for clothes!"

"Yes," nodded Fish, "There is a lot of hair that usually falls out where they live, you just wait for Fish to take you there to pick it up nya."

Next, Fish took the group to visit the nests of various magical creatures.

In addition to all the beautiful feathers and furs, they also collected broken eggshells, broken claws and teeth, as well as herbs that only grow in the area where the magical creatures live, and almost everyone came away with a lot of money.

The group wandered through the Forbidden Forest until noon, when Fish, of course, took them to sample the Centaurs' food and give some of the snacks he had recently received to Brandwalden and the other ponies.

The Centaurs, being the best at astrology, had predicted that Fish would come today and they would have a lot of "losses," so they had prepared a lot of food and managed to entertain Fish and his friends.

But, as usual, the Centaurs did not get along well with other humans....

After eating, Fish continued to lead them through the Forbidden Forest for a while, and then out of the Forbidden Forest towards the Black Lake.

"Wait a moment, Fish will introduce you to a new nya friend."

Fish knelt down by the black lake and stuck his head in the water.

Everyone watched in confusion as Fish spat a series of bubbles into the water, and before long, a huge squid rose to the surface.

"His name is Kanaloa, he's Fish's best friend and the boss of Black Lake." Fish introduced Kanaloa to the group, and then said solemnly to Fleur and Krum, "If Fish had asked him for help in the second test, you wouldn't have been able to beat me!"

Fish was still more than upset about his defeat in the second test.

Fleur and Krum watched Fish slap the squid's huge tentacles exposed out of the water, the corners of his eyes twitching.

They had seen a couple of giant squid during the second test, and both had had the good sense to avoid them, but the ones they had had to dodge were nothing compared to this one, and if Fish had enlisted their help, they would have ended up at the bottom of the Black Lake, not to mention rescuing the hostages.

Harry, who had already seen Kanaloa, and had seen him dangle the three-headed dog, Fluffy, in the air, was unfazed.

While everyone was still in shock, Fish said regretfully, "Fish knows a basilisk named Uroboros, but Minerva won't let me take him out, or I might introduce him to you."

As Fish sighed, everyone breathed a long sigh of relief, they didn't want to meet any basilisks.

Some of the people in Hogsmeade had heard Fish mention Uroboros, but they, like the others, were not interested in meeting the basilisk.

After Fish introduced his animal friends to his friends, they all felt they needed a little time to digest the day's experiences, so they dispersed into small groups and wandered around Hogwarts for a while.

Fish was pulled by Gabrielle towards her and Fleur's mother, who was also a half-blood Veela.

"Hello, Fish." Apolline Delacour looked at Fish with a smile and then turned on her charm, "Thank you for taking care of my two daughters this time."

As a half-breed Veela, Apolline Delacour was far more capable of seduction than her two daughters.

Unfortunately, it didn't work on Fish.

"Hello nya."

Fish replied politely, and his totally unflappable look made Apolline Delacour raise an eyebrow in surprise....

Even if he is a mixed-breed male Veela, he is only slightly more resistant to charm. If he meets the charm of a female Veela, he must turn into a jerk who would try to woo her.

And Fleur, with a grimace, muttered in French, "I told you that wouldn't work on Fish."

"Ah~!"

Fish looked back to see Mr. Granger rubbing his lower back with his teeth bared, as Mrs. Granger forced a smile and came to Fish's side.

"Hello, I'm Jacqueline Granger," Mrs. Granger said with a smile as she extended a hand. "Since Minerva has to prepare for her final exams, that's why my husband and I are here as Fish's relatives."

Fleur whispered again in French in her mother's ear, "Fish's girlfriend's name is Hermione Granger."

Mrs. Delacour was stunned, then used her charm on Mr. Granger, who was still rubbing his waist, then took Mrs. Granger's hand and shook it lightly.

"Hello, Mrs. Granger, my name is Apolline Delacour, mother of Fleur and Gabrielle, as you can see."

"Hello, Mrs. Delacour!" the newly delighted Mr. Granger jumped up with a goofy grin on his face and reached out his hands to shake Apolline's hand, "My name is Chris Granger! I'm a dentist."

"Snap!" Mrs. Granger forcefully lowered her husband's outstretched hands and then glared at him with a murderous look.

Mr. Granger flinched violently, then woke up from the Veela charm. He quickly lowered his head, not daring to look at Mrs. Delacour again.

"I'm sorry," Mrs. Delacour said with a soft smile, covering her mouth with her hand, "I have a special lineage, please don't blame your husband."

Mrs. Granger's face was grumpy, she could actually see the other woman's abnormality, but both she and Mr. Granger were Muggles and had no idea what was going on, no way to fix it.

So she turned her attention to Fish.

"Gabrielle and her family have the Veela bloodline," Fish explained, "They can make kids look as weird as Chris just did, and they can turn into a bird that can throw fireballs."

At that point, Fish turned to Lady Delacour and asked, "Apolline, can you turn into a nya bird?". Fish asked Fleur and Gabrielle, and neither of them could do it."

Madame Delacour looked into Fish's glowing eyes, and like Fleur before, she was silent.
