Chapter 46: Fish is so smart!

"Meow?"

Fish cocked his head, confused, then turned his head to Padma, "Three-eyed girl, why don't you speak meow?"

"Uh..." Padma hesitated for a moment before replying with a smile, "I guess the Eagle wasn't happy with your answer.... "

Fish was instantly displeased, "Why, meow?"

"Why live if not to eat, drink, and have fun?" said Fish.

Before Padma could explain the answer to the eagle's ring question, Fish had already turned around and tapped the ring on the door at the foot of the bronze eagle.

"What is...,?" The reanimated Eagle had just started to say, when Fish interrupted him forcefully.

"Why isn't the meaning of life to eat, drink and be merry?", Fish shouted, pulling the brass ring from under his feet.

It was probably the first time the ring had been questioned at his trial, and after a long moment of silence he replied, "That's too shallow an answer, I need an answer that shows more of your wisdom."

Fish frowned, not quite understanding what the Eagle was saying, he was obviously so smart, "An answer that shows more of my wisdom?" (???).

But obviously, the bronze eagle in front of him could not understand the cat's wisdom. After forcing the eagle to open the door in vain, Fish could only answer the question honestly.

If I wasn't curious about what's inside, I wouldn't have bothered to do it.

Fish angrily knocked on the door again.

"What is life?", At this unvarying question from the eagle, Fish cocked his head to one side for a moment and decided that perhaps his previous answer wasn't specific enough, so he tentatively replied, "What about... dried minnows?"

"..."

Without a word, the eagle turned back into a bronze statue.

"Meow, did I get it wrong again?", The kitten didn't give up again, and before the Eagle could put his wings back in place, Fish tapped the door ring again.

"What's...?"

This time, before the Eagle could finish his question, an anxious Fish gave his final answer, "Bee candy."

"..."

"Ice rats!"

"..."

"Chocolate frog!"

"..."

Fish persevered and kept waking the eagle, and answered the answer as a password to the principal's office.

"This... Fish?", Padma couldn't take it anymore and called out to Fish who kept harassing the Bronze Eagle.

"Meow?"

"That's not going to work, you're answering in the wrong direction.", Padma was organizing her words, thinking about how to clarify the concept of the Eagle's question to Fish.

"Meow, in the wrong direction?", Fish raised his head slightly, looking up at the ceiling for a moment, and suddenly seemed to have come to his senses, "I know, meow! If all the food I like didn't work, then it must be the food I don't like."

Reaching out once more to tap the ring on the door, Fish confidently tossed out his answer without waiting for the eagle to say anything or for the three-eyed girl to stop him, "Bertie Bott's Grageas of all flavors!"

Because of the flavor he didn't like, Fish didn't like this snack very much.

"That's not the case!" As soon as Padma said that, the bronze eagle at the door nodded and opened the door to the Ravenclaw common room.

"I can't accept that!", The little witch cringed with her head in her hands, having thought about it for half a day, but it was no match for the wrong one... from Fish

The eagle was probably fed up with Fish,

Did you let him in on purpose?

Padma raised her head and cast a suspicious glance at the bronze eagle, who had turned into a statue.

Unaware that her misadventure had made the three-eyed girl suspicious of her house keeper, she slipped into the Ravenclaw common room as soon as the doors opened.

Of course, it made the little wizards inside exclaim for a moment.

"Fish?! How did you get in here?"

All the big guys gathered around with a look of surprise.

As eccentric as the Ravenclaws were, they couldn't resist the charm of the kitten's animal affinity.

"I answered the bird's question right and she let me in," Fish said with his head held high and his arms folded proudly (● ̄ω ̄●).

"Fish is so smart! The idiot girl from Three Eyes didn't know the answer!" said Fish.

As soon as Padma, who had successfully deduced her own answer based on Fish's answer, walked in, she heard Fish slander her and couldn't help but refute him loudly, "Your answer is like a blind cat that hit a dead mouse!"

Fish pointed to his green eyes and glared at his, "I'm not blind!"

"That's not the point...," Padma covered her forehead, this kind of conversation that wasn't on the same channel gave her a headache, and there was a vague sense of familiarity....

In Ravenclaw, there weren't many people like Fish.

'Then why had Fish been assigned to Gryffindor?' Padma thought angrily.

Her sister Parvati kept bragging about how she had touched Fish's little head today and fed her, so the friendship between the two sisters almost broke down because of this.

With that in mind, Padma stopped thinking about the eagle and took the opportunity to pet the cat while she could.

She rushed through the crowd and made her way to Fish's side.

The Ravenclaw hawks were always alone, and unlike the Slytherins and the happy Hufflepuffs, they talked to Fish about whatever interested them, as they saw fit.

The Ravenclaw common room became noisy with all the chatter of the young wizards.

The noise was a bit annoying to Fish, as was the fidgety little hands, and the fact that the Ravenclaw common room was similar to the Gryffindor common room in that it was in a tall tower with a view through the window.

Although the view from the Ravenclaw window was slightly better, it didn't seem as interesting to Fish as the bronze eagle on the door.

So after a casual stroll through the common room, Fish saw his chance to sneak out.

The Ravenclaw's, who had been arguing, calmed down for a few seconds before they started pointing fingers at each other.

"It's all your fault, you scared Fish!"

The boys blamed the little witches who always wanted to touch Fish.

"It's you guys who are always talking about things that don't interest Fish!"

Not to be outdone, the girls retorted sharply.

Little did Fish know that the little Ravenclaw wizards were already in an uproar over him.

He had intended to return to his dormitory after leaving the Ravenclaw common room, but in the middle of his walk, he suddenly remembered that he had run away because he had gotten into trouble, and if he went back now, he would probably run into the red-headed No. 4 and the others.

In time, Fish stopped in his tracks and transformed back into his cat form, slipping into a suit of armor near the Gryffindor dormitory.

Until his housemates returned, Fish planned to stay here for the time being, taking a nap or something.
