Lucian scoffed. He enjoyed the fear that flashed through the eyes of his newfound plaything and he decided to continue.
He grinned, slow and devilish, "I believe you're hiding the fact that you're trying to run away from me. I am unaware of the reasons why but it could be a variety of things,"
Cassie's heart skipped at his words and she took a step back, away from him. Her left foot hit the bedpost unprepared and with a soft gulp, she landed her ass in the bed.
Lucian clicked his tongue. In his mind, he found her act so cute and her actions and body language explained to him that he was hitting the right spot so he went on.
This time, his voice sounded a bit sensual. "Maybe she doesn't want to fall for me," he took steps closer to her without ending his words, "Or maybe, anytime she's around me, thoughts of me linger in her mind for longer than she expects. Or maybe...." his hand reached for her chin and with the help of his fingers, he forced her to look at him.
Searching her gaze, his lips formed an unholy evil smirk. "Tell me, do you crave for me romantically?" he asked.
"W_ what?" Cassie choked out, speechless.
Lucian took his fingers off her chin and grabbed her jaw with his hand, a little too hard, "Don't you dare lie to me, say it,"
He wanted to hear it from her. A part of him wanted her to say yes and he didn't mind it if he had to force her into satisfying that part of him.
