Marvel: The New Punisher

On the streets of Hell's Kitchen, an unusual Punisher has appeared. He moves through the darkness, following a creed of slaughter. Shells fall to the ground, blood sprays, and the entire Hell's Kitchen is filled with fear. In the past, good people dared not walk the streets of Hell's Kitchen at night. Now, bad people don't dare walk them either. First, Kingpin exhales smoke from a large cigar and sighs: "The times have changed..." Then, Loki sits hugging his knees, gazing at the sky and exclaims: "It's good to be alive..." Later, Ultron cries out, calling Stark "Dad": "That demon killed me a hundred times, a hundred times! Finally, Thanos looks serious: "Everyone, today we will swear an alliance in blood and officially form the Anti-Koen King Alliance. For the sake of our universe, those with money give money, those with power contribute power..."

Chapter 11: I Really Want to Shoot Him in the Back

Hell's Kitchen has practically turned into an arena for various factions.

On the surface, the streets are almost entirely filled with police cars, roaring in and out.

If you walk the streets at night, you'll discover that at any corner, there might be a police car lurking, ready to strike.

For a moment, the crime rate in Hell's Kitchen surpassed even the wealthy Upper East Side, making it a model area for public safety in New York City.

The residents here had never seen such a spectacle, and they even felt a hint of gratitude towards Demon Face.

Behind the scenes, gunmen and assassins hired by gangs were also lying in wait at every corner.

They stayed up all night, just to claim the bounty placed by the underworld. They hoped to make a name for themselves while earning a hefty reward.

Even S.H.I.E.L.D. agents had moved in.

However, they used high-tech methods, like special drones that resembled birds, scattered throughout Hell's Kitchen, waiting for their prey to appear.

In the middle of the night, Coulson suddenly woke up from a nap. He glanced at the screens full of surveillance footage. "Any signs?"

"No, he hasn't shown up."

"What about Daredevil? Is he still keeping watch on the rooftop?"

The technician pulled up a view, showing Daredevil sitting like a monk at the edge of a tall building.

It was the highest point in Hell's Kitchen, offering a clear view of the entire area and any movements.

Coulson sighed. He had tried to communicate with Daredevil, but no matter what method he used, as soon as he got within 50 meters, Daredevil would immediately leave.

There was no chance for a conversation.

"Sir, Demon Face hasn't appeared in three days. Could it be... that he's left Hell's Kitchen?"

Coulson hesitated for a moment. "It's possible. Let's wait a bit longer. If he doesn't show up, we'll have to call off the mission."

While all four factions were looking for Cohen, he was not at Emma's Church.

He had secretly gone to a high-end neighborhood in Brooklyn.

This was the residence of Carson Wolf, a senior agent of Homeland Security.

Cohen approached the front door of a villa, pulled out a key, and gently opened the door.

David had spent over a month surveilling Wolf, even hacking into the security cameras in his house.

The footage had shown the keys multiple times, and after careful comparison, they successfully duplicated one.

In his sleep, Carson Wolf suddenly felt a chill.

He groggily opened his eyes, and in the cold moonlight, there was a figure standing by his bed!

"Who are you?"

Before he could react, a fist smashed into his face, and then he knew nothing more.

In the suburbs, at an abandoned construction site.

Wolf was awakened by a bucket of ice water. He immediately realized his hands were tied, suspended, and his feet, bare, were standing on a cold steel plate.

He couldn't help but struggle.

"Stop struggling."

In front of him sat a young Asian man, smiling as he looked at him.

Next to him, a man wearing a puppet mask was holding a brazier, squatting in front of him.

"Who are you? What do you want?"

The puppet mask man placed the brazier under the steel plate and asked in a low voice, "Agent Wolf, do you like teppanyaki?"

"I bet, after today, you won't."

As the steel plate began to heat up, fear rose in Wolf's heart. "Who the hell are you?"

The puppet mask man looked into his eyes. "If I told you I was a soldier, would that scare you?"

Wolf gritted his teeth. "You're no soldier. You don't have the spirit of an American soldier!"

"Heh, spirit? The kind of spirit where you're gutted, stuffed with heroin, and smuggled into the country to make you rich?"

Wolf's face instantly turned pale.

The puppet mask man chuckled. "You see, you know exactly why I found you."

"I can give you money! A million—no, ten million! Let me go, and I'll give you the money..."

The steel plate continued to heat up, and the remaining water droplets sizzled as they evaporated.

Wolf struggled to keep his feet raised in a painful position.

The puppet mask man shook his head. "Today is only about revenge."

As the puppet mask man's slightly hunched figure came into view, a face flashed across Wolf's mind like lightning. "You're... No, impossible! You're supposed to be dead!"

David took off the puppet mask, his face filled with hatred. "If you aren't dead, how could I be?"

Wolf looked utterly incredulous. "How is this possible? I shot you in the heart!"

David ignored his question and roared.

"Today, I'm not just avenging myself, but for all the soldiers you defiled, for everyone you betrayed, deceived, and murdered! You will die today!"

Wolf's body finally gave out, his feet touching the now red-hot steel plate. Instantly, bloodcurdling screams filled the construction site.

Pain triggered his adrenaline, and he lifted his feet once again.

But eventually, he would lose strength.

"I was wrong! I'm sorry! Let me go! I'll give you all my money, just let me go..."

No matter how much he screamed, Cohen and David left without looking back.

"Actually, I really wanted his money."

David shrugged. "Who says I can't get the money without him?"

"What?"

Cohen was shocked. "You mean you can hack a bank?"

"Of course not.But do you think I only hacked his security cameras just to copy a key?"

"When he logged into his account once, I saw his account number and password reflected in the glass behind him."

"F*ck, nice job! How much?"

"Sixteen million. He had three secret accounts. Unfortunately, we only got one during surveillance."

"Should've killed him later."

David gave him a resentful look.

The two sat in an old pickup truck, listening to the screams in the distance.

After about half an hour, Cohen checked his watch. "The poison should be kicking in."

Soon, the system beeped, marking the completion of one out of three tasks for the Bronze-level mission.

The way back wasn't easy, as they had to avoid various forces. With David's guidance, they slowly took a detour.

Cohen spat when he spotted Daredevil in the distance.

"Ugh, bastard, I really want to shoot him in the back!"

David was still busy on his phone, remotely controlling the equipment in the church.

"Hey, good news. I found evidence of those two corrupt cops' crimes.I also uncovered some information about their boss, that guy named Wilson.

He's been acting all cultured lately, often visiting an art gallery."

"Art gallery? What's the name?"

"Vanessa."

"Hey, has the big bald guy found true love?"

"What?" David looked at him, puzzled.

"Keep an eye on that gallery for me."

"Why?"

Cohen chuckled. "We've just come into a lot of money, so I want to support the arts.

Maybe I'll even win the beauty over!"

(T/L- Dude you're playing with fire, lol)
