Lola rolled down the car window and fastened her seatbelt as Ethan pulled out of the police headquarters. She could see Victoria entering her car, yelling at her driver, and furiously snatching a bag from her cameraman.
She had hoped to twist everything that happened and have only Lola arrested, but her plans didn't work out because the moment she decided to fight her back, she also summoned the courage to overcome any challenge that popped up.
"I know your retaliation wasn't a good idea because of the way things are, but I am proud of you. You shoved her snide down her throat and she deserves it. At least, we won't be the only one topping the list of their bad books." Ethan didn't hide his crooked smile.
