Who is Ava

Ryan sat at the back sit of his car and released his tie, his breathing was so heavy that Joshua had to look at him, but the look on Ryan's face read.

*Don't talk to me* so he faced the front and started driving to the office, in silence.

Everything felt like yesterday when his parents died because of the sunlight project, a project that comes up every five years, that can be said to be a opportunity for business men.

His father also took that opportunity with the help of his own father but he was killed with his wife after he won the project, and he was given half of the reward because according to them he didn't finish the project.

The dead bodies of his parents still flashed in his memory and he shut his eyes tightly, nobody has ever won the project without getting injured, if the family don't die they themselves would die.

The government has nothing to do with it not even the president since it is in the economy word and no leader would want the economy record to go down, so the project wasn't cancelled and people were dieing and this is the same project his grandfather put him in for.

He can't do it he really can't, he can't allow Astoria to die because of his and he himself is not ready for death.

Astoria dropped the phone after reading his text and somehow she is so disappoint, but since he is coming anyways she felt a little relief.

She had forgotten that his grandfather said he wanted to see him, she waited for his all day.

She went over to the coffee room to get herself coffee when she heard other assistant talking, in the office beside the coffee room and since they can't see her she stayed to listen to their conversation, she would sure get the latest gist.

"So Mr Ryan is going for the sunlight project?" One of them said.

"Yes apparently, I heard he doesn't know that he is, his grandfather did it at his back, I heard that is why his grandfather pushed his to get married" Miss A said and the other made a "wow" mouth.

"What? But why?"

"Don't you know? Nobody can take up with the sunlight project if the person is not married"

"Then how do we explain the relationship between Mr Ryan and Astoria"

"Could it be a fake marriage?" One of them said and the other agreed to it.

"Could it be, because they are not affectionate towards each other at work, I have never seen them be romantic with each other" the other one added and they both got shocked.

"Me too, when she is around him she is more like scared than romantic" they two ladies laughed and made their way to the office.

Astoria took her coffee and left the place, people are starting to notice, and she needs to do something fast, she went to the entrance and waited for Ryan, she needs to do something anything.

As soon as Ryan's car parked Astoria opened the door and Ryan came out, suddenly his noticed that his heart got soft when he looked at her, all the anger he felt on his way here subsided.

"Are you back?" Astoria said with smiles as he got down from the car.

"Yes I am" Ryan replied looking at her weirdly, like what the hell as come over her?

When he got out of the car fully she hugged him and gave him a peck, on his cheeks that he couldn't help but give a little blush.

Ryan got startled by her behavior, Astoria held his hands in hers and they walked inside the company, everyone looked at them but Ryan was so uncomfortable with the gesture but astoria knows what she is doing.

When she saw the two assistant that were gossiping about them she stood and dusted Ryan's suit, she looked at the look in their eyes and smiled, just what she wanted.

"Honey let's take our leave"

"Ho... honey?" Ryan repeated very shocked.

When they got to the office Astoria let go of his hands.

"I am sorry Mr Ryan"

"I understand but can you explain why you did that?"

"I heard people talking that we are not affectionate and I thought I should do something before those gossips get out of hand I am sorry"

"Ok you don't need to be"

Astoria nodded and started walking out of the office you start the day's work afresh.

"Astoria?"

"Yes?"

Ryan moved close to her and hugged her tightly to himself.

"Just for one minute let's stay like this Astoria nodded and put her hands around his waist.

Harry stood outside the window with his hands in his pocket.

ever since he set his eyes on Ryan's new driver he has been so troubled, so he wants to investigate everything he can find on him.

he is doing this behind Ryan's back but it really all for his good, he can't watch his friend I'm danger.

A knock came through the door and he turned to the direction of the door and muttered

"Yes come in" he said and walked to meet his visitor.

The door silently opened and the private investigator he hired entered.

"Do you have all the information I need?" He asked and sat gesture I him to also have his sit.

"Yes i do have everything" the man said and brought out all the files he has with him

"Can you start with the briefing now?" Harry said focusing on the man.

"He is not a citizen of this country, he is from Brazil and he works at S Matted company at Brazil"

"S Mart?" Harry said getting more interested in what the investigator is saying.

"Yes sir a company Own by one Miss Ava and he is her personal bodyguard"

"Ava? Sent Joshua here? Or what is going on?". Harry asked himself.

"And the miss Ava in question would be back in the country anytime from now" the investigator said.

"Ava should not be back not now that Ryan is falling back in love after what she has done to him, she is Ryan's past and she should stay like that"
