DAVID LOVES HIS SISTER

David's eyebrows immediately rose after hearing what the person in front of him had just said.

"Why is that?" the man asked. "Daddy won't let you live with me?"

Celine nodded her head and then looked down with a listless face. While David who knew this immediately sighed for a moment.

"Daddy," David called who was now walking closer. "Why did you do that?"

"What do I do?"

David saw a man in front of him who was looking at him with a straight face, while Celine who was standing next to him with a lowered face made him immediately sigh.

"Celine can't stay at my house, what's wrong?"

"In my opinion, there is nothing wrong because what I did was right."

"What do you mean, Daddy?"

"Given the news out there it makes me even more worried that Celine is being mistreated by other people, I mean I don't know what you've been doing since you haven't lived with us in years."

Unknowingly both his hands clenched tightly with his heavy breath while lowering his head. David was annoyed, but he had to be able to contain his anger, indeed his coming here was always wrong and this was the old man's wish.

"Do you think I did something?"

"I never talk like that, David."

"I never talk like that, David."

David who heard it immediately snorted and then turned his face the other way with a smirk.

"I know you never believed me."

"David!" said a man who was in front there. "Watch your words. Why would I ask you to be the successor of our family Company if I don't believe you, huh?!"

Everyone at the dining table was silent, including a woman who had been staring at him sadly when she saw David who was still standing in front of her.

"Brother," called a girl who was still standing beside him. Meanwhile, the man who was lost in thought immediately sighed for a moment before finally turning to the side where his sister was.

"Yeah, what's wrong my Lil sister?" said David with a slight bow of his head. "Do you want something?"

"Are you staying at the house tonight?"

"Is that part of your request?"

Celine, who heard it, immediately nodded her head with her sweet smile, which made David who saw it feel excited about what he had just seen.

"Okay, I'll stay here tonight."

"Yey, thanks, Brother!"

David who knew this also pursed the corners of his lips, smiling at what he was seeing at this time.

"Then let's sit down, everyone is waiting for us to have dinner together."

"Come on, I want you to sit beside me, Brother!"

The man chuckled after hearing Celine's words so that now David nodded his head with that smile that never faded.

"Celine," he called, making the girl in front of him look straight at her with raised eyebrows. "Where do you want me to sit?"

"Here, Big Brother," Celine replied with her faint smile. While the man who saw it immediately raised his eyebrows and chuckled.

"Can't, Celine. It's already occupied by your big sister," said David smiling while shaking his head. "I'd better sit there, okay?"

Celine who knew this immediately frowned with her arms folded across her chest and a bent face when she found out that David wasn't sitting next to her.

While a woman is currently trying to close her eyes but doesn't know why it's so difficult that right now all she can do is stare at the ceiling.

Jane suddenly misses her parents, but will they be as warm as they used to be?

The woman missed the figure of her parents who used to warmly welcome her every time she came home and herself who was always loved without her asking for it.

"I miss the old," Jane muttered through her tears. "Now I feel lonely."

The sound of a knock on the door made Jane immediately turn towards the bedroom door in surprise.

Her brow furrowed when she heard the voice of someone calling so that she who knew about it immediately took a deep breath.

"Jane," someone called from outside the room.

Finally, she dared to wake up from her sleep, she woke up with both hands clenched tightly.

Jane had a baseball in her hand, just in case something hurt her.

"David, is that you?" asked the woman with a furrowed brow.

"Yes, it's me, Jane."

Of course, hearing this made Jane frown immediately, so now the woman immediately looked for her phone and made sure of something.

Currently, a man is accompanying his sister in a room. He smiled hearing Celine who kept talking to him non-stop since he came to the room earlier.

"Brother, I hope you find a good match for you, and also ..." Celine hangs on her words, the girl is currently biting her lower lip in embarrassment. "Love me."

David's eyebrows immediately rose after hearing what the person next to him had just said, making the man who knew it immediately curled the corners of his lips into a smile with what she had just said.

"I'm trying to find a suitable partner for myself, not someone else. But, of course, hope that the one who loves my little sister too."

David spoke as he poked his sister's sharp nose with annoyance, which made Celine, who knew it, immediately pursed the corners of her lips into a shy smile.

"I want you to always be happy, Brother. Even though, I know that Daddy always hurts you."

It was something that shocked him when he heard his little sister speak like this which made him who knew about it immediately sighed for a moment before finally shaking his head instantly.

"Celine, you better not have to think about me, whatever happens to me, let it be my business. But, if anything were to happen to you, it would be my job to look after you."

How could Celine not be so close to him compared to the rest of his siblings? David had always treated her very differently. Of his five younger siblings, she was the only one whose character never changed because of the old man's words.

His father changed the warmth of his own family from he was a teenager to the adult he is today. David hoped that Celine wouldn't be treated the way the man treated him old.

"Brother, if I may be honest, I prefer to live with you. No one can take care of me when Dad always scolds me and forbids whatever I want, he only asks me to continue studying without thinking about my feelings which sometimes feel bored."

Hearing that, David immediately took his younger brother into his arms, occasionally he kissed Celine's forehead affectionately before he finally sighed.

"I'll try to talk to Daddy, but you have to promise me, if you ever stay with me later, Celine will have to study without being lazy, okay?"

"Okay, I promise!"
