Chapter 1

The sound of the bell at school made Sarah and her friends run from the canteen to the classroom. "Hurry up and pack your food, Zhong's teacher will punish us if everyone is late to class," Biella said. Sarah and the others ran fast, ignoring the other students who looked at them.

Unconsciously, Sarah couldn't stop her legs when she saw there was a man walking in front of her "Sideways" Sarah said loudly but didn't turn up when she bumped into that man.

Sarah's eyes widened when she felt something strange and slowly she looked down and she was shocked when she kissed that man's cheek.

"You're crazy Sarah" Sarah said in her heart, she quickly got up and bowed "I'm sorry sir, I didn't mean to" Sarah said stuttering. That man stood up and looked at sarah "It's okay but I think you need to run fast again because you might miss studying time" He said coldly and walked away from there.

When she heard that, Sarah continued to run towards the class. Sarah stopped running when she saw all her friends being fined by Zhong's teacher and a quick sharp glance towards her "Looks like today I'm going home late"

On the school field, Sarah and her friends sweep and pick up trash "I'm tired, no other teacher is as cruel as our teacher" Aina said and sat down on a chair. Biella put the trash on the edge of the chair and sat down "Be patient because this year we will graduate and the next year our life will change" She said. Sarah looked at the school grounds "Finally I can get away from this place" she said in her heart.

Sarah walked home and went into the room after finishing all the homework at school. The sound of knocking on the door woke Sarah from her tiredness "Sarah, tonight you go take care of dad in the hospital because brother and sister have work tomorrow" Said her sister and closed the door of sarah's room. Sarah let out a tired breath and walked over to pick up a towel and head to the bathroom.

At the hospital, Sarah brought her father's favorite canned water and placed it on the table. "Where did he go?" Sarah said worriedly and she started looking for her father and she went to the men's restroom and saw an old man sitting in a wheelchair and coughing. Sarah let out a sigh of relief and went into the toilet and pulled the wheelchair out.

Sarah helped her father sit on the hospital bed and she handed the canned water that had been opened to her father "I had bought dad's favorite water as well as other foods" She said. Mr Chen smiled at the sight of his daughter faithfully looking after him every night.

"My condition has improved so you don't have to sleep on the cold floor every night and you're not very healthy," Said Mr Chen feeling worried about Sarah's health. Sarah smiled at her father and held her father's hand "You don't has to worry because whatever it is about you it's not a problem for me and i will feel calm if i takes care of you" Sarah said confidently.

The cold night in the hospital made it hard for Sarah to sleep so she got up and walked out of the ward and sat in a chair listening to a song and see beautiful sky.

The next morning, Sarah wiped her father's body with a wet towel and arranged the food and medicine on the table. "Later, Sarah will tell mother about the medicine and remember that you has to eat all this to increase your energy" Sarah said.

Sarah's mother came and gave money for school expenses. "It's your money," Sarah's mother said. Sarah picked it up and quickly walked away.

Mr Chen took the book and opened it

"Sarah deserves to decide her own life, I hope you as well as others do not control her life after she finishes school" Mr Chen said.

Mrs Ziena looked at her husband "I know what's best for our daughter, you don't have to be angry like I'm a bad mother to her" She said and went to the toilet. Mr. Chen shook his head.
