Sharon meets Avero
Following the departure of Tobin and Mr lancaster sharon decided to take a stroll outside the mansion. The mansion was becoming too stuffy for her, she needed fresh air. "The flowers in the garden should provide comfort for her, but first she must see somewhere else." She thought to herself
On getting outside she noticed daylight had begun to drain away. She looked around and saw Dane on his phone it seem he was talking to someone at the other end of the line.
Outside Tobin and Mr lancaster, Sharon hasn't really tried starting a conversation with any of the lancaster brothers on a one to one basis . She has decided to try relating with everyone except of course Tobin.
Dane noticed Sharon outside and quickly ended his call.
"Hey new girl" he called out to her with a smile.
"I thought I will never see you outside since you have made it a habit to lock yourself in your room. "
"You should learn how move around so you can get familiar with this place."
She made a frown but later gave out a weak smile.
"Well, if you are willing to Show me around I will appreciate that" she replied.
She noticed he was elated at her idea and wasted no time in agreeing with her.
"Where will you like to see first? " he asked her.
"I will like to see the pool outside the mansion she said without hesitating."
She had heard the brothers talking about the pool and she became filled with a desire to visit it.
Dane is delighted to take her there. He seem like a school boy who was presented with a gift. Sharon couldn't help but notice his joy. Why he was reacting that way she couldn't tell.
He remembers his time with Avero in the pool and thought maybe he could make a move on Sharon. If it works out l will be a lucky man he said to himself.
He led the way as Sharon followed behind closely. They had barely taken few steps when they saw Avero.
Dane stopped on seeing her. He hoped in his heart she won't say anything foolish.
'Hi Dane I can see you have a new friend now" she said with a frown on her face.
"Who is she, she looks pretty" she added with a chuckle.
She looked at Sharon scanning her to know if she would be a threat.
Dane was nervous he knew if he doesn't hurriedly take control of the situation Avero will say something to annoy Sharon. He could already see she was jealous.
"Sharon this is Avero our family friend, " he said turning to Sharon.
"And Avero this is Sharon our....." He mumbled
He didn't know what to use to describe the relationship between sharon and himself. He knows if he calls her sister then it will be weird when he decides to make a move on her. Also he didn't want to call her a friend so Sharon doesn't get mad at him for not accepting her as a family member.
"It is nice meeting you "
A smiling Sharon said stretching her hand forward for a handshake.
Avero ignored her hand rolling her eyes at her at the same time.
"Well I think you are forgetting something" Avero said coldly.
'What's that?' Dane asked.
'You didn't tell her I am your girlfriend. " Avero said putting her arms on his shoulder in bid for her to look convincing
Sharon is already embarrassed by the fact Avero ignored her hand and she was no longer interested in whatever Avero has to say. If Dane wasn't standing there she would have walked out of that place.
Dane, slowly removing Avero's hand from his shoulders looked at her angrily and said
"We are not dating Avero. I have told you times without number that we are not dating get that into your head and stop throwing yourself on me."
Avero couldn't believe her ears. She couldn't believe Dane will deny her in front of another girl. She felt an instant urge to slap him but she restrained herself.
With hot tears in her eyes she ran into the mansion
The incident didn't stop Dane and Sharon, as they continued on their journey to the pool.
