Three Bubble Teas

Lily wasn't the type who would keep her rants to herself. When she started talking about her clash with Director Chu, her phone rang. Seeing Lin Que as the caller ID, she paused and took the call in front of them.

"Hello?"

"I'm getting off work now. Where are you?" Since she sent him a text with Ginny and Alan's picture, he knew she had finished her business at her workplace.

"I'm at the park with Ginny and Alan. It's the park across from the restaurant we ate at around Adam Street."

"Mm, I'll be there in fifteen to twenty minutes. Wait for me. We can grab dinner altogether." he suggested and hung up the call.

Looking at the couple next to her, she said, "Lin Que is coming and he wants to have dinner with you guys."

"Sure." Ginny and Alan were fine with the arrangements.

"Oh. Since he is joining us, I'll keep my story for dinner. I don't want to repeat it again. I've already told my parents once." Lily felt like she would need three bubble teas or more to quench her thirst if she had to explain what happened today three times.

Within the estimated time, Lin Que had arrived and parked his car by the park. The trio met him at the entrance of the park. When Lily saw him standing by the street pole, she hopped over with spread arms to give him a huge hug.

"You're here! Hehehehe" Wrapping her arms around his neck, she leaned against his chest. The moment he saw her skipping over, his arms were spread out to welcome her. Once he successfully trapped her in his embrace, they totally forgot about Ginny and Alan's existence. Lily was shamelessly rubbing her face against his chest.

Alan hooked his arm around Ginny's shoulder. He pointed and whispered, "Do you want to have a PDA contest with them? Let's hug like them." Ginny lowered her head and blushed when she heard his idea. She coughed to hide her embarrassment.

After a minute of silence, she saw Lily still hugging Lin Que from a distance. She started thinking about Alan's suggestion and decided to initiate a hug as well. Standing in front of him, Ginny slowly spread her arms and said, "hug."

Even though she said it in a low voice, Alan heard it clearly. "Why are you so cute?" Wrapping his arms around her, he squeezed her tightly. Her arms circled around his waist and she rest her head against his chest where she could hear his beating heart. 'Ah, his heart is as fast as mine.'

The two pairs continued hugging for five minutes until their stomachs grumbled in complaint. After choices of elimination, they chose to eat hotpot. Once they settled at the restaurant and ordered the ingredients they wanted, Lily started talking about her incident with Director Chu today.

Everyone kept quiet until she finished her story. While she talked about how she was threatened and blacklisted, Lin Que's hand squeezed hers tightly. He was angry that someone tried coercing his girlfriend into a contract with such low tricks. Lily ended up telling them about her plans on rejecting Chu Entertainment's proposal.

Lin Que felt her thumb rubbing against the back of his hand to calm him down. After she had finished, Lin Que asked, "How dare that bastard scoop this low to get his way? Is there anything you want me to do?"

Lily shook her head with a smile, "It's a war that he was meant to lose anyways. Without Jiang Corporation's investment, he will suffer a huge loss. I'm waiting for him to show up at my office to officially greet him. We'll see who regrets it."

Lin Que relaxed after hearing her words. Throughout the dinner, the group continued complaining about Director Chu. Once in a while, Lin Que would look at Lily to make sure she wasn't feeling salty about any of this. If she showed any signs of sorrow, he would be determined to bring Chu entertainment within two days.

After dinner, Lin Que drove Alan home while Lily went home with Ginny. He wanted to spend some time with Lily, but she drove her car today. Therefore, he and Alan walked the girls to the car and watched them drive away before leaving.

Alan noticed Lin Que's unusual silence, "Bro, are you going to do something to Chu Entertainment?"

Curving his lips to a small smile, Lin Que stopped his steps and turned to face Alan. "Does it look like I would let anyone bully my girlfriend under my nose? I'll let Lily make her move first. I'll be her back up if anything unexpected comes up."

Alan laughed and patted Lin Que's shoulders. "I knew you wouldn't let that asshole off easily! What are you going to do?"

"Let Lily have her fun first. I'll make a move after." While keeping secretive thoughts to himself, Lin Que remembered something very important! His father's birthday party was coming up, and he requested to see Lily.

Facepalming his forehead, Lin Que started walking towards his car again. He wanted to give her a call, but decided not to because he wanted her to concentrate on driving. It was a chaotic day for her, and he didn't want to stress her out about meeting his parents.

At the same time, he wasn't sure if she was ready either. On the way to Alan's house, Lin Que curiously asked Alan about how his date with Ginny went. He learned about their blossomed relationship, but was interested in how it began.

While the guys were on the road, the girls had arrived at Lily's apartment. The moment they got in, Lily circled her arms around Ginny and pushed her to the living room. Settling down on the soft carpet with a cushion in each of their arms, the girls chattered with excitement.

Lily: "So, so~ How do you feel?"

Ginny dug her face into the cushion with a huge smile. "Ahhhh, my heart was racing the entire time! I was so nervous, but it felt good!"

Lily smiled and clapped as she listened to Ginny's description. "Oh my! Oh my! Oh my!! Wait until you guys have your first kiss! I saw how you initiated that hug earlier! Just because I was hugging Lin Que doesn't mean I wasn't peeking!"

Covering her face with both hands, Ginny shook her head as she imagined how heart pounding she would feel when they have their first kiss. Only when Alan and Lin Que called them that they stopped squealing to each other.

When they heard the ringtones, they sat up straight and cleared their throat before picking up the call. At the same time, the girls answered, "Hello? Did you get home safely?"
