Living Doll of MHA

A child is born into the world of MHA. She is not born in Japan but is instead born in England. Her Quirk? It is still yet to be determined but from her birth, she has the appearance of a baby toy doll. Will she be a hero? Will she become a villain? Or will her path be one that is her own that is outside of those two choices? (Short release of a chapter or couple of them, unlike my other projects that have been continued.. do not expect regular updates!) Hall of Horrors

Years passed by again and Tiffany had slowly settled into her new life.

The new mother of her had often been a role model for her so she often listened well to the instructions of her and the others within the carnival.

She grew up learning from those around her so that started off with the orphanage that had neglected her and had not treated her well then to the carnival where she had to be useful to be able to eat and live well.

It caused Tiffany to develop a kind of personality that was formed from those conditions around her as she had grown up, if she was to be of use to others then she would do well to do as they wanted.

If she wanted to survive then she needed to know how to entertain others enough to make others realise her worth.

Nothing was given to her for free and there were others among her that were in competition with her and wished to stand in the spotlight one day.

Unfortunately due to her more fragile body, Tiffany would not be able to train with the others and dream of bigger things.

One accident could seriously shatter her body into many pieces so anything dangerous was eliminated from her potential roles.

The likelihood of her being able to make it on the big stage and to have more of a presence within the carnival was very low.

The Hall of Horrors was where she would remain for her life unless she was given the chance but all she got from others was rejection and them laughing at her foolishness.

Anything that had a higher requirement of skills and a higher accident rate was ruled out immediately so there were not a lot of other options available.

Not many others that had been a part of the Hall of Horrors were as qualified to appear among the more public shows so things like dancing, a mime role or a clown role would be ruled out.

She may have been able to join if she dressed up to suit her role but there was too much competition for those roles from many others.

There were some small cracks that were left over from her time spent at the orphanage so she had to be even more careful not to get damaged further.

Her life was not completely lonely and she had become closer to some among her own group within the House of Horrors.

The little money that had been earned had been spent on some clothes or toys while most of it had been taken by her parents who said that it was theirs since they were raising her.

Unlike the other children, Tiffany needed much less attention and needed less to survive so in truth, they had provided very little to her besides a rough place to sleep and work.

Once one performance was over and the shows had come to an end in one location, everyone had packed up to travel to the next location.

If Tiffany needed or wanted to learn anything then she had to invest in books on her own or would have to learn from those around her so she had to rely more on those that were able to read, write and count.

She was not a top student that could learn everything easily but she had come to understand what she had been taught gradually.

Even in a harsher environment where she had to work from a young age and did not gain the basics of what a normal human body needed, Tiffany did not suffer from illness, hunger or other problems.

If it was another child her age then they may have become sick and the parents would have to be the ones to care for them or to spend money on their treatments if it was bad enough so depending on the parents, their fate would be decided based on how much they cared about the child.

It was made clear to Tiffany from a young age that if she was no longer of worth or use to them then it was likely that they would give up on her.

There were others around her that had met similar conditions and disappeared one day without explanation.

Going back in time to around the time that Tiffany was five years old was when the cruel reality of her surroundings had let her wake up from any hope of having a loving family that would treat her like their loved ones unconditionally.

Tiffany was with another person who had a ventriloquist dummy in their arms, they put on a show as they had shown Tiffany a part of their act. "Wow."

The other person was a girl too and she was in her late teens, she was dressed in a plain shirt and black pants while her hair was tied back into a ponytail.

The doll in her arms looked like a female clown but it was slightly more scary looking, the doll was passed over towards Tiffany. "Come on, you give it a try."

The girl was someone who Tiffany had started to grow closed to outside of the House of Horrors, she was adopted too and worked as a ventriloquist.

Not many others had treated her well outside of the House of Horrors but the girl was among those that she was closer to.

A clumsy attempt to put on a show using the dummy before it ended up back in the hands of the girl again.

It was clear that Tiffany was unable to figure out how to make it look like the dummy was speaking on their own.

It could have been that she had no talent to learn what she had been taught or she was still too young to understand the tricks behind it.

She received a pat on the head for trying even if she had done poorly which caused her to show a little happiness in that moment.

It was a rare thing for her to receive affection from others so when it did happen, she was overjoyed.

It was just an ordinary day like every other day within the carnival but there had been a slight change that would spark something within Tiffany.

After returning to sleep on a bale of hay, her green eyes had closed slowly before she had drifted into her dreams.

Darkness was around her until she had suddenly felt her vision clear up, the environment around her was very different from where she had gone to sleep but it seemed somewhat familiar.

Her head moved around and her eyes fell onto the sleeping figure that was the girl she had previously been to see.

Her body felt very unfamiliar to her and she did not feel like she could move around as well as before like the rest of her body was not completely solid. 'This is not my body!'
