Chapter 12

Yoshi woke up from the dream with sweat all over his body. His bed sheet was drenched in sweat too. He put his right hand on his forehead, trying to process what just happened. He looked around and realised he was in his room.

"Ehhh!!?? Am I not awake yet!!?" said Yoshi to no one, half yelled.

He quickly went to the living room and saw it was in the same state like in his previous dream. Don't know what actually happened, he screamed to himself in rage. His over thinking habit has came out without his consent.

"What the heck is happening?!! Am I still in dream?? Or is this the real world? Wait, what if I'm never existed in the first place?!! And all the things that happened to me all this time is just an illusion!!! Wh- what if I actually get caught in an accident and fell into coma?? Ahhhh!!!!! I want to die already!!!!"

After a few minutes of yelling and let all the frustrations out, he finally collected himself and started to think rationally again. Instead of going out, he went back to his room, sat on his floor mat and started to think of possibilities and make up theory.

'Okay. Let's calm down and think again. The last thing I remembered before came here is when my hyperventilation syndrome appeared. And after that, I passed out on my floor at my house in Naruto world. There's no need to talk about the things that happened to me when I'm first came here, since I knew already that it was actually a dream. The main priority here is to figure out whether I'm still dreaming or not. If I'm not dreaming, then that means I'm in different world or this is just my illusion.' thought Yoshi deeply.

When he was thinking, suddenly a thought came into his mind.

"Wait! Why I never think of this before. What if this is actually Kurayami's doing? Even though he rarely appeared in my dreams, but it's not impossible for him to manipulate my dreams, right?"

"Yes, you are right. What a bright kid."

A voice suddenly came behind him with clapping sound. He immediately recognised the voice and quickly turn around to see a boy in black with shadows like tentacle behind him. Yoshi was trembled at this sight. He never witnessed such a thing in his entire life. He suddenly remembered the thing Kurayami said to him at the alleyway.

'Is he gonna take over my body now? No way, not in a million years I will let that happen.'

Yoshi wanted to run away but the door was behind Kurayami's right side. So there's no way he using that way, instead he decided to jump from his bedroom window since it's the closest and... not so safest way to escape, but whatever.

He rushed towards the window, but Kurayami himself was not an idiot. He knew what Yoshi was planning. He raised his right hand and pointed out to Yoshi. Then, one of the tentacles moved towards Yoshi in an unimaginably speed and stabbed him on the chest. Yoshi was shocked, he could see a black thing pierced through his body. Not even one second, suddenly there was two more tentacles stabbed him, one at the stomach and the other one straight through his head.

At this time, Yoshi started losing consciousness and before he passed out he heard Kurayami said something.

"You will not be able to escape from me. I will kill your inner self slowly, step by step. And when that times comes, you will beg on your knees for my mercy to-"

Before he could finish his words, Yoshi's ears started to lose his functionality and his eyes slowly closing and then he saw black.
