The Aesir Gods had been ruling the Yggdrasil for thousands of years. They watch over everyone and decide what is good and what is wrong. They are the true rulers of Yggdrasil. But Floki didn’t like the way the world is. He thinks that Gods are terrible rulers. They are unjust and don’t even care about mortals. According to Gods, people that died in battles would go to Vahalla while everyone else would go to Hell. This was a very absurd rule. But alas he could do against the wills of the Gods. Then a day came when his village was attacked. His parents, villagers, neighbors, and his loved ones died brutally in front of his own eyes. They were killed by bandits. All of his beloved defenseless villagers had to go to hell as they couldn’t fight. While the men who cause all those atrocities were invited to Valhalla by Gods… It was then that Floki decided that instead of living in such an unjust world, he would rather destroy this unjust world. He would rather see this world burn to the ground than see those useless Gods rule this world. To destroy the world, he would have to fulfill the ancient prophecy of Ragnarok. Thus he started his journey to free the world disasters to cause Ragnarok… ................................................................................... The gentle rays of the sun fell on little Floki who was sleeping peacefully in his room. The rays of the sun though were gentle, but they made his eyes tremble in annoyance. And after a minute or two they completely made his sleep completely dissipate.
Floki got up from his bed and looked around. He saw that he was sleeping on his bed in his room. It was very weird considering the fact that if he remembers correctly then, last night he fell asleep outside on the bench.
It was then he realized what day was today. He fell asleep outside because he waiting for the sun to rise. And now as the sun had finally risen, he got up immediately and ran off from his room. He first went to his parent's bedroom only to find it empty.
Seeing that they were not here, he instantly knew where they would be. He quickly wore his sandals and started making his way outside of the house…
As he got outside, he was greeted with a very pleasant morning. Outside his house, he could see there was a certain energy in the village. Everyone in the village was happy and was running around here and there for tonight's festival.
Seeing the enthusiastic and cheerful villagers, a smile bloomed on little Floki's face. With his little legs, he started running through the village looking for his parents.
It didn't take him that long to locate his father. He knew that he would be in the main square of the village preparing for the festival. And sure enough, he was there. In the middle of the square of the village, his father was helping his other fellow villagers to create a huge stand for tonight's bonfire.
It was custom in their village to create this bonfire every year during the festival. At night, people will light the bonfire and then the real festival would start. People would dance around it while cheering and praying to the gods. It would be too much fun…
"PAPA!" Floki yelled and came running toward his father. As he came close he hugged his father's leg and didn't let go.
"You are finally awake huh, my little marshmallow?" Floki's father said and then he picked him up in the air, into his arms.
"Why didn't you wake me up? I wanted to see morning rituals as well." Floki said.
"Well sleeping so peacefully, so I didn't want to wake you up." Floki's father said while softly pulling his son's nose.
"Where is mother?" Floki asked.
"Oh, I think she is in the outskirts helping merchants to set up… You know what let's go and meet your mother" Floki's father said and then both son and father duo started heading towards the outskirts of the village.

As the father and son duo were walking, they started talking about what they would like to do at this festival…
"And Jon had decided that he would try to beat his record of stuffing honey-baked cookies in his mouth. I would like to challenge him, But I am afraid, that I would just fail miserably." Floki said.
"Don't worry about it. You are a small boy now, who hadn't awakened his system yet. After you grow up, you will beat Jon in any contest." His father commented.
"But when will I will be able to awaken my system? I have been hearing about it all my life. And yet still I haven't been able to awaken it." Floki said.
"Floki, you will awaken it eventually… Look at that, do you see what I am pointing at?" his father said while pointing at a distance.
Floki's father was pointing at a very big tree in the horizon. The was so big and tall that it could be seen even from so far away. The tree was giving off an alluring white aura that seem very calm and peaceful…
"That is the Yggdrasil. You were born on one of the branches of a great tree. And I know for a fact that you will be able to awaken the system just because everyone on the branch of that tree will get a system. It doesn't matter who you are, where you came from but if you are born intelligent then the tree will grant you a system." He said.
"I know that father, but I still, when would my time come?" he asked innocently.
"Patience boy. Everything will happen eventually." His father said.
"If you say so," Floki said. Seeing the sad face of his son, Floki's father knew that he should do something to make him smile.
"Say Floki, do you know why we celebrate this festival every year?" he asked.
"Mother told me that this festival was celebrated in honor of the Goddess Freya. She said that Goddess Freya would grant us good crops in the coming year if she liked our festival." Floki said.
"It is indeed correct. But do you know, the purpose of the big bonfire?" he asked.
"Yeah, the big bonfire is used for celebration and cooking meat," Floki confessed innocently.
"It is used for that purpose too. But do you know the main purpose of the bonfire is to help Goddess Freya to locate us? My parents used to say that when Goddess looked down on us from Asgard, this bonfire helps her to locate her subjects. And they use to say that the bigger the bonfire would be, the more strongly we would attract the gaze of Goddess towards us. If the bonfire is too small then not only she would ignore us, but also will not grant us anything in the upcoming year." His father said.
"So bigger the shine of our bonfire, the more she will be attracted to it?" Floki asked.
"Yes, kind of like that." He said.
"So isn't she just like a golddigger? My friend Hymp told me that Gold diggers are woman or man that gets attracted to the shine of shiny metals like gold and silver" Floki said innocently.
