Ongoing War

--- Izumi's Garden

~Tok, tok, tok...

~Pak, pak, pak...

The sound of nails and wood being hammered together was heard almost everywhere. If Jay was here, he would be shocked with what the place looks like.

Instead of a flowery garden, the place now looks like a city going under construction. There were a lot of people building wooden houses and other kinds of establishments, some were trying to create some dirt roads, and there was also some kind of castle being built at the very center of the place.

The castle being constructed had a donut shape. The reason behind this is to make sure the gigantic treant, Fraxinus, is still chilling peacefully at the center of the place.

...

On a small hill at the northern area of the place...

"Umm... Fatelord Izumi... are you really okay with this?" The Chicken Lord was currently having some kind of tea party with Izumi. Together with them was Roasted Boar and Horace.

"Just screw it all! You can have the place entirely to yourselves. I will just relocate my home somewhere else." Izumi said as she peacefully sipped her tea.

"Before I leave, I want to make sure you guys know something. This place is hidden deep within the Nature Spring Well and can only be accessed by me, for now at least."

"Nature Spring Well?" Everyone wondered what this was since it was the first time they've heard of it. Even the Chicken Lord does not know about it.

"The Nature Spring Well is where every drop of Nature Essence comes from in this continent. Even though it is named as a 'well,' it actually looked like a large lake with green water. It is located at a place called the 'Lost Dryad Forest,' which is located at the easternmost part of the continent." Izumi stopped for a while and took out a large bronze key.

The bronze key she took out had a diamond-shaped head with an emerald on its center. If looked at from a far distance, the bronze key even looked like some kind of wand due to its size.

"This key is the only way to access this place. The one who owns the key can do as he or she pleases and allow anyone to enter this place or not. It can also allow the owner to call upon the dryads of the forest, harness nature energy, or instantly cast nature spells that are around the 9th tier and below."

Everyone around Izumi was shocked when they heard the different kinds of benefits the bronze key will grant its owner. But they obviously knew who Izumi will entrust this key to and their thoughts were confirmed when they heard Izumi speak again.

"I am entrusting this key to Jay when he returns. As for how you can exactly leave this place after Jay grants you access to the Nature Spring Well, it is pretty complicated to explain. But to summarize the leaving process you have to go through, you can select any place in this continent that has a Treant somewhere on its vicinity." Izumi said as she stored the bronze key.

"Fatelord, how many Treants are there anyways in this continent?" Roasted Boar asked.

"Including Fraxinus, there are 6 of them. But sadly though, Glimmer, the treant located near Glimmertree City, is still recovering deep inside Fraxinus since she was attacked by those Shurym Demons. But anyways...

The six treants are; Fraxinus, Frallia, Glimmer, Lunarwood, Willow, and Vexaria.

As you can see, Fraxinus is obviously planted and resting in this place. Frallia and Glimmer are planted and rests somewhere at Wildergreene's territory. Lunarwood is planted somewhere near the eastern coastline of the continent. Willow is planted somewhere at Black Marsh, an area that covers a very large area at the very northern part of the continent. As for Vexaria, she is planted in a hidden sanctuary somewhere near the southern coastline of the continent.

In short, when you leave this place, depending on your choice, you will be teleported to a nearby area that is within a Treant's territory. As for how wide a treant's territory is, you can figure it out for yourself."

Just at the same time Izumi finished speaking, she suddenly felt her Fatelord Emblem vibrating so she excused herself from the people around her and went somewhere else.

...

Stromm's voice came out from Izumi's Fatelord emblem.

"Izumi. Activate your 'link' there. The Chicken Hero is done with his Fatelord training."

"What?! It has just been a day and a half! How?!" Izumi was really shocked and immediately asked Stromm for more details.

"Ask him yourself later. Even I do not know if I am dreaming or not..." After this, Izumi's Fatelord Emblem suddenly glowed with a golden light.

"Lord Stromm, I've set up my link already." Izumi said and tossed her Fatelord Emblem on the ground.

Then after a few seconds, a blinding ray of light came down on a small area near the emblem and Jay suddenly appeared the moment the ray of light disappeared.

"Yo!" Jay waved his hand casually as he looked at Izumi.

--- Kagruu Plains

Meanwhile, back at this newbie area...

"CHARGE!!!"

"ARCHERS, FIRE!!!"

"KILL THEM ALL!!"

The place was a total wreck. It became a battlefield. There were no newbie players on sight, and almost every monster that got spawned in the area littered the ground with their corpses.

There were currently five different armies fighting each other; Wildergreene's army, Holtheim's army, Barton's army, Aisleen's beastmen army, and the wood elves' army.

There were even some players involved. Some supported a certain army, some got involved and wants to fight their way out, and some were just too impulsive and joined the war for no particular reason.

Among these players were the elite players of the White Fang guild; Axel (guild master), Purgatory Saberlord, Failed Blade, and Graxton.

"Damn it! Just how the hell did we get involved in this mess!??" Axel shouted furiously as he kept slashing two silver daggers at the arrows fired at him.

"I told you we should've paid for a teleportation gate! Got anything to say for yourself, guild master???" Graxton shouted with a mocking tone as he chopped a man in half using his battleax.

"Just shut up and focus on clearing a way!" Failed Blade shouted while he protected some of his fellow guild mates at his back who were injured badly.

...

~Hisss....

The Naga King, Severus, was leading the beastmen army that contained around 10,000 Armored Werewolves and 5,000 Minotaurs.

"For our queen!" Severus shouted in a deep and shrill voice.

~AWOOOO!!!

~MOO!!!

While the beastmen army continued their slaughter on the battlefield, an old man with a loose purple robe and a top hat appeared in front of him.

"Naga. Why not join forces with me for the meantime and help me get rid of those scum from Wildergreene and Holtheim? Our two factions don't really have an enmity with each other, so why fight among ourselves?" The old man asked. This old man was obviously Barton.

"Hahaha!!! F*ck off old man!" Severus shouted as he twirled a golden trident on his right hand and slithered around Barton.

"Fine. Die then." Barton suddenly released a baleful aura as he started to cast an illusion spell and targeted some of the minotaurs and armored werewolves nearby.

"Kill him." Barton said casually as he pointed at Severus. After doing so, he used an invisibility spell and went somewhere else.

~AWOOO!!!

~MOO!!!

"The hell are you guys doing?!" Severus shouted furiously as he saw some minotaurs charge up to him with their greatswords and battleaxes. There were even some armored werewolves that pounced onto him.

"Get lost!" Severus had no choice but to kill all of the beastmen who attacked him. As for how he did it, he pierced their hearts out using his golden trident. All of them got killed by him in just a few seconds.

...

~Ting, ting, ting...

On a certain area, the only ones who were fighting were three people who used swords; Sir Rayne, the commander of Wildergreene's black knights. Lord Aaron, a nobleman from Holtheim. And the prince of the Wood Elves, Aerendyl.

"I knew this day would come. The day when I finally get to settle our old score!" Rayne shouted furiously as he charged at Lord Aaron while dragging a jet-black greatsword with him.

"That all you can do coward? Striking me when I am fighting someone else?" Lord Aaron mocked as he continued to clash with Prince Aerendyl using twin swords. Just as Rayne's greatsword was about to hit his back and slice him in half, Lord Aaron suddenly turned into a blur and disappeared from sight.

As for Rayne, the momentum of his swing was too great and had no choice but to target Prince Aerendyl instead with the skill he was using.

~Fwoooshh...

A large crack on the ground appeared where Prince Aerendyl was standing. Together with it was some kind of 'sword wave' that he had no chance to parry or block if he used the longsword he was using. Having no other option, Prince Aerendyl dodged it by rolling on the ground towards his right.

"Damn humans..." Prince Aerendyl stood up and spat on the ground as he looked at the two people in front of him.

"Just f*ck off elf bastard! Don't interrupt our fight! Go and suck your elven queen's p***y!" Sir Rayne shouted and unintentionally said some weird things.

"HOW DARE YOU MOCK OUR QUEEN?!!" Prince Aerendyl shouted furiously as he charged towards the two, not caring if he had to face the two of them at the same time.

...

Somewhere else in Kagruu Plains...

There were around 500 Shurym Demons lying in wait. Among them were 400 brown-skins, 98 gray-skins, and the two octopus-headed demons. All of them were currently invisible due to one of the octopus-headed demons.

"Sir... great sir... when are we..." A gray skinned demon asked an octopus-headed demon in front of him.

"Shhh... Just keep quiet for now and listen to their sweet, sweet cries. How marvelous it is. Too bad Fangra is not here. I wonder where that lazy piece of s**t wandered off to?" Jangga, one of the octopus-headed demons said and pretended he was listening to some kind of musical play.

"Jangga, I've confirmed it that none of those pesky Fatelords are here. As for those weaklings they call kings and queens, there are two of them. One of them looks like a muscular snake. Another one is an old man." Rangga, the other octopus-headed demon said while his whole body was buried on the ground and only his head was above the ground.

When Jangga heard this, an evil smile formed on his hideous face and shouted.

"TIME FOR A FEAST!"
