Golden Moon Class Academy (Part 1)

The box contained something even more precious than gold coins. It contained Gold Crystals, the highest and grandest form of currency in Dungeons and towers of Fate. A single gold crystal is worth 100,000 Gold coins. And the box contained 5 of these gold crystals.

"HOLY S**T!" Jay thought in his mind as he saw the gold crystals. He then looked at Princess Auriel and almost dropped to his knees as he thanked her for her support.

The princess laughed softly and smiled when she saw Jay's reaction. She then told Jay that she still had some unfinished business elsewhere and needs to go already.

"Alright. Don't worry princess. I will win the tournament." Jay said as he bowed to the princess before she left.

"Thank you." After that, the princess left the room.

"Since that is done, time to go to the class academy... and spend this gold crystals! I'm rich! Hahaha!!!" Jay said to himself as he led Nuggets and Heda out of the room.

"Okay, if I remember correctly, the teleportation gates is somewhere here..." Jay talked to himself softly as he led Nuggets and Heda towards another room in the lobby area.

Then after a few steps, the three arrived in front of a room labeled as 'Noble Services'.

"This is it. I wonder if any of the players have already found out about this... I should also call everyone from Golden Phoenix I guess." Jay thought of this in his mind and thought it might work out since he had 5 gold crystals with him at the moment.

He then took out the guild emblem and told everyone to gather outside the Golden Fortress.

...

--- Outside of the Golden Fortress ---

Everyone from Golden Phoenix, including Yale and Abyssal Angel, was currently waiting for Jay, wherever he his.

"Hey, why did Jay call us here? Any ideas?" Yale asked the group since they just asked for a temporary leave from Blackiron. He was scared of thinking of the punishment he and Abyssal Angel will get if they stay out for too long.

"No idea." Roasted Boar answered. Just as they were discussing among themselves, they saw Jay walking out of the castle's front door.

"Hah? How the hell did he get in the castle?" Everyone asked themselves as Jay approached them.

Not minding what everyone was thinking of, Jay told them to follow him inside while he payed 10 Gold Coins to Sir Rayne who was guarding the front door.

"Hold up kid. There are nine of you entering. The entrance fee is tripled." Rayne stopped the group while he unsheathed his sword. Having no choice, Jay decided to pay an additional 90 Gold Coins to the guard.

"Umm... Jay? Isn't this a bit too much?" Roasted Boar asked as he saw Jay easily giving up 100 gold coins just to enter the castle.

"It's fine. I am the richest player in the city right now. Hehehe... Come on."

Everyone did not know if they should take Jay's final remark seriously, so they just followed him inside without further questions.

--- Golden Fortress, Lobby ---

While Jay was leading everyone, he told them about the plan he had.

1. Become a student in the Golden Moon Class Academy.

2. Class Promotion

3. Skill Upgrades

At first, everyone was confused with all of this, especially the second and third part of Jay's plan. So Jay explained it to them.

Class Promotion is exactly how it sounds like. Whatever class you have, may it be an auxiliary or fighting class, or something else, your class tier will advance into the next tier. The best part is that when you reach a certain tier in a class, you can change your class into even more advanced classes. For example, a sorcerer. When a sorcerer reaches the fifth tier, the sorcerer class can branch out into three different classes. The first is something called Astral Sorcerer, a sorcerer that specialized in heavenly objects like starts, meteors, etc. The second is the Grand Sorcerer which can cast almost any type of spell but has no specializations in any type. The third branch is Necromancer, which is obviously related to anything involving Dark Magic.

As for the Skill Upgrades, it is pretty obvious on what it does. It is technically the same thing as what Jay does with the 'creation orb' in his fate system. But for players who does not have the system anymore, skills can be upgraded through surpassing the 100% completion rate of a certain skill or by mixing two or more skills into one.

After everyone heard Jay's explanation, they immediately became excited and cannot wait to go into this Golden Moon Class Academy.

...

After a few seconds of walking, they arrived in front of the noble services room in the lobby area. Near the room's door was Nuggets and Heda, waiting for Jay and the rest.

"Let's go?"

Nuggets asked Jay and Jay signaled everyone to enter the room.

--- Noble Services room ---

The room looked like a shop. Different items and equipment were stored in display cases that can be bought for a hefty price.

At the opposite side of the door, the room's back area, a female NPC receptionist that had blond long hair and noble clothing was currently reading a book.

While everyone was looking at the items and getting shocked by the price of each item that amounted up to 50 Gold Coins, Jay walked up to the receptionist and said, "Excuse me, me and my friends want to use the teleportation gate."

The receptionist gave Jay a cold stare as she closed the book she was reading. She then spoke up.

"10 Gold coins per person. 10 Silver coins for small pets like that chicken."

Jay then handed over 100 Gold coins and 10 Silver to the lady.

"Destination?" The receptionist asked.

"Golden Moon Class Academy."

After Jay said that, a small portal-like gateway appeared where the door was supposed to be located. The lady receptionist stored the payment she received and signaled Jay and the rest to enter the teleportation gate and leave already.

Not wasting any time, Jay led everyone to the teleportation gate.
