"SOFTY!"

I looked beside me when I heard a distinct voice close by. I had a glass of juice in one hand and my mobile phone in the other. I'm waiting to hear from Tita Pat. The twins have not yet returned home. She’s already worried.

A tall, young man with fiery, chocolate-coloured eyes stared at me from a few inches away. His smile was one-sided, and both of his hands were in the pocket of his pants. He has thick brows and a lovely nose. His skin compliments his masculine features. I couldn't blame the girls around him for swooning over him.

"Xylon Diaz! You're so handsome!" I noticed a woman nearby who screamed and nearly fainted.

My eyes rolled around in the air. Who is that lady hyperventilating about? Perhaps an actor? A well-known basketball player? Or maybe some celebrities have been invited to the School Foundation Day today.

When my phone rang, I turned away from the man who appeared to be gawking at me. He may be just a student from another college.
