Tangled Chrysanths: "A Shattered Soul"
| II |
Waking up as a side character whose demise is unmentioned and scarcely made an impact on the readers, was something Rael had never envisioned would happen to him.
With his eagerness to protect the monarch depicted as a villain, Rael decides to accept his fate and live as Azrael, although not very arduous, it was certainly not kind.
Especially when strange scenes kept appearing in his dreams, scenes both joyous and torturous, scenes that were too genuine, raw, scenes that fate was truly unkind.
Making him question if Azrael's role in the novel was truly insignificant, or was it a role that's far more glorious than the main character's.
