I wake up early and my stomachs already spinning. My phone dings next to me. Oliver’s name is in my notification screen making sure I’m up. I reply telling him, I’m about to start getting ready. I drag myself away from my blankets and go to the bathroom. I wash my face before starting my make up. There’s a weird feeling sitting in my stomach. I write it off as nerves about dressing up. I finish up my make up when I hear a knock on the door.
I look through the peep hole on my front door. Mary looks around the hallway with a scrunched-up nose. I unlock the door and greet her in with a smile. “Hi Mary. Thank you for helping me today.”
“Of course. This place is disgusting. No offense.” She glances back into the hallway.
“None taken, it is disgusting, but it’s home. We can go to my room I have a mirror in there.” She nods and follows me to my room.
“I brought you some snacks.” She sets a bag on the floor next to me. She brought muffins and juice.
