Getting Complicated

Vred went quietly to the room the Baron was locked in, he shook the Baron's body until he came to her senses. "You know me don't you?" asked Vred. The Baron nodded weakly.

"I know you, you used to be my father's healer. Why are you helping witches?"

The Baron looked at Vred sadly. She knows Mr Avrin's children, Vred and Deloz. But maybe only Vred knew her because since childhood Deloz was a child who was not interested in royal affairs.

"She's from the topaz order, just like Lord Oxara's subordinate, she's harmless," the Baron finally spoke.

Vred sighed. "That was then, not now," he said. He looked at the Baron with pity, he couldn't help her when it was related to Deloz, his younger brother was a very stubborn person, moreover, the mistakes made by the Baron were fatal.
