At some point, there was a soul, lurking in the endless astral plane, but then it got a chance at reincarnation after devouring an unknown entity's soul. This story follows a man who got reincanated in the magus world as an aristocrat along with Leylin Farlier's A.I. chip 3,000 years prior to the time when the events of the canon took place. ...... This is a warlock of the magus world fanfic, this will be my second fanfic and I will try to write better. You guys may give constructive critisism. I'll update almost everyday.
<p>In the endless astral plane where countless worlds were akin to small islands. <br/><br/>There were two souls flying straight towards a large world. However, the souls started to get closer to one another, slowly but steadily, eventually, those two souls collided and a battle ensued.<br/><br/>The first soul was the one on the offensive, as if it knew that if it won this fight, then it'd gain a great fortune.<br/><br/>While the former continued with its relentless attacks, the latter didn't even attempt to defend itself, rather, it was an unknown entity in the latter's soul that was struggling with all it might.<br/><br/>Both stopped at one point in space, halting their advance towards the new world while trying to survive. <br/><br/>Space around them started to distort due to the fight between these souls, time didn't mean anything at this point. After a few attacks, the former soul changed its strategy by instinct by trying to cover the second soul, devouring it bit by bit from the sides, slowly, but steadily.<br/><br/>The second soul was almost devoured completely. What was left was the unknown entity, the first soul didn't stop and devoured it and it rushed towards the new, unknown world.<br/><br/>….<br/><br/>South coast, Chernobyl islands,<br/><br/>Silmore Empire,<br/><br/>In a luxurious castle, there was a man middle-aged man with short brown hair, sharp eyes, and a prominent jawline. His face was covered with a smile all over which contrasted with his eyes that were assessing the people in-front of him. He was duke Mason Van Elrod, one of the most influential people in the kingdom of Silmore. Near him was his first wife, Elena Le Elrod, today, she was looking a little tired but had a bright smile on her face while carrying her child.<br/><br/>Today, this banquet was held by the duke, for this was the day his first son was born, Tirus Van Elrod.<br/><br/>"Congratulations, Duke Mason Elrod for becoming a father." a fat man around 40~45 years of age spoke to him with a smile on his face. This was a descendant of a grand knight, his name was Jimmy. <br/><br/>"Hm." Mason said as he turned around and loudly exclaimed "I, Duke Mason Elrod, thank all the nobles of our mighty Silmore empire for coming to this banquet, enjoy the feast, we have prepared our specialty, the purple cherry wine for this auspicious event!"<br/><br/>Sounds of applause started coming from all directions, and thus the feast continued.<br/><br/>The purple cherry wine was the specialty of the Elrod family, it was made with some special ingredients that were kept secret by the Elrod family. Rumors suggest that the first generation head of the Elrod family used this wine to consolidate his power in the empire as both the queen and the king had fallen in love with this wine.<br/><br/>"Oh, little guy's just born today but is so quiet, haha, usually, an infant would cry at a banquet as grand as this!" An old man around 60 years of age exclaimed. Although he had a head full of white hair, his eyes were brimming with vitality. <br/><br/>This was a second generation noble, named Ryan. He was the son of a grand knight who was able to become a noble. He had an eccentric personality, he liked to ask questions on a whim without any hidden meaning behind them.<br/><br/>He and Mason had friendly relations at one point in their lives and everybody knew the personality of Ryan, so he didn't react much.<br/><br/>"Hm I see, then I'll take great pleasure indulging in the purple cherry wine." Ryan said as he made his way to the banquet table.<br/> <br/>'I don't like him one bit' His wife, Elena, thought as she kept her usual smile plastered on her face while looking at her husband.<br/><br/>Today, she had just given birth this week and now, she had to come to this banquet. Although she had no problem with this as she was a noble lady, she had experienced similarly exhausting situations multiple times . Thinking of this, she looked at the infant in her arms. It was her firstborn, Tirus Van Elrod. Seeing the infant, her fake smile turned into a genuine one.<br/><br/>"Aww my cutie!" looking at the child who was looking right into her eyes with wonder she couldn't help but feel giddy. She wanted to return to her room and play with her son, but as a noble, she had to maintain her bearing.<br/><br/>'Oh my god, I transmigrated!' Tirus thought as he looked at his surroundings in amazement, and then his eyes moved onto the face of his mother.<br/><br/>'I really, really, want to know what happened for me to have ended up here, but I don't think I would be able to, better sleep now, I'll think about it later.' He thought as he snuggled up into his mother's warm embrace.<br/><br/></p>
