In Teyvat with the Gacha system

Wake up, freshen up, eat, go to work, come back home, freshen up, eat, sleep. This is my usual schedule which i can't really say I'm proud of. By the way, my name is Lucian Grey. I'm a nineteen years old guy who works at a convenience store. Though recently, my family and i decided to leave the country due to the ongoing civil war happening.

After entering the airplane and sitting on my seat which was fortunately near the window, i took out my phone and began to take pictures of myself as that was my first time of entering a flying vehicle. soon after, the plane took off. 

"Good afternoon passengers. I'm the pilot of this plane and I'm speaking to inform you all that we have identified an unknown object coming straight towards this plane. now i want you all to not panic as the co-pilot and i will try to maneuver through this problem."

A little over an hour later, the emergency alarm sounded and the pilot's voice was heard.

"IT'S A MISSILE!!" Someone who conveniently had a binocular shouted. 

Immediately, people began to panic as they knew that it will be near impossible to avoid a missile if its aiming exactly for the plane. Fear gripped my heart and i looked outside the window only for my fear to change to confusion and shock. i Immediately looked at my brother who began to sweat and pray to every single god he has heard of in his entire life.

"Is it only me or is there a Truck speedily flying towards us?" i asked. He looked at me with a face that i could only describe as 'are you for real?'

"What? that is what I'm seeing what can you see?"

He looked at the window and his eyes widened. "Lucian that's a missile for God's sake!"

"But I'm telling you that i can see a-", I turned back to the window only to see the truck exactly in front of me.

"Oh shit-".

And then the world went black...

Hey-"

"Hey wake up"

"Is he dead?"

Lucian's eyes snapped open at the last sentence as he hurriedly sat up.

"NO! I'm not... dead?" His voice trailed off as he realized that he wasn't dead. 

Suddenly, intense pain washed over his body as he felt an intense heat wash over him making him empty any leftover he had in his stomach.

"Hey are you alright?" the previous voice asked.

With his remaining willpower, Lucian gave him a weird look. The owner of the voice who turned out to be a boy that looked no older than twelve quickly realized that Lucian wasn't okay at all. he opened his bag and gave him a bottle of water. Lucian gratefully accepted the water and chugged it down like his life depended on it. After some time, he could feel the pain slowly reducing, allowing him to properly move again.

"Thank you for the water. Looks like i really needed it," Lucian said as he gave the boy the now empty bottle. Now that he got a good look at the boy, he couldn't help but notice his anime-like features. The boy had dark red hair that slightly reached his shoulder and wore a casual white shirt with black trousers. But the most distinctive feature of the boy was his light brown eyes that had star-shaped pupils in them.

The boy, thinking that Lucian was waiting for him to introduce himself smiled and said, "My name is Arnold but you can call me Arne. At least that's what my parents call me."

Lucian snapped out of his thoughts and replied, "What were you doing out here Arne? I'm Lucian by the way."

Looking around, he realized that they were on a hill surrounded by grass and a little bit of flowers. Arne took out his bag and opened it, revealing a few flowers in it. 

"Well, today is my mother's birthday. So I came to pick some flowers for her. I was on my way back when i found mister Lucian on the ground."

"Thanks Arne," Lucian said as he gently ruffled Arne's already messy hair making the boy smile.

"By the way mister Lucian, how did you get here?"

Lucian's smile froze as he remembered what happened on the plane. He hoped that he was the only one that died while everyone else survived. noticing the worried look on Arne's face, he replied, " to be honest, I cant remember. i must have fallen from the sky."

Arne grabbed his hand and began walking, dragging him along. "Then why don't you come with me to my house? I'm sure my parents will love to meet you."

Lucian wanted to refuse but just shook his head and let Arne pull him. As he just got transmigrated into a world that he doesn't even know about, he would prefer to play it safe until he got some knowledge of where he exactly was.

They reached the end of the hill, revealing a beautiful city beneath it. Arne turned to look at Lucian,

"Welcome to khaenri'ah".

Before he could say anything, the sky turned red and multiple red cubes began to descend on the city.

"What the fu-".
