I pass the Royal Mage test 5 years ago and became a royal mage. My mage rank is 4th tier 7 elemental mage. I got the rank because Im 4th tier in all 7 base Magic. I'm also a 1st tier Time Mage. Time! I can frickin control time, kind of.

All 1st tier spell of time magic is quite useless. Like the best spell I could use is slowing some thing not bigger than me by 1%. What can you do with that? I don't know, maybe slowing someone's fall? Like that would make any difference. So time magic is useless for now. I did ask for higher tier time spell but they would say something like I'm not ready, patience it the key and some other bullsh*t.

I'm currently a personal mage of the 4th Princess, Princess Liliana LI Chronos the same princess who came to the ceremony that time. The Emperor though it's a good idea to keep me close to his daughter. It's not like she'll get my magic like this right? Right?!!! I don't know it's not like I can refuse.

Being her personal mage is actually pretty easy. It's just guarding her and helping her train. And she has her knights so I wouldn't even need to protect her. I would just have to follow her when she leaves the Palace.

Her magic training would be simple, just some spell and mana control training. I would take a most 2 hours a day. Meaning I only work for 14 hours a week and and get paid. I don't actually need money, all my necessities are taken care of so my salary if for liesure.

The weird thing is that all I'm the only one with this kind of job. Like literally on other mage in the Palace does what I do. They are always busy with work or something. It's like I'm an exception. Maybe I it's because I possess Arcana Magic? That must be it. But if you think about it it looks like they are restricting my progress. It must be nothing.

My days go by without a worry. Until that day.

While I was going through my book of Null Magic. I casted [Null Magic : enhanced hearing] a spell that does exactly what it's spelled.

My spells may sound short and simple compared to spells from anime, game or movies on Earth but it's effective and efficient. I said my because I mean only my spells in this world.

Let me give you an example. My mentor when I first got here showed me a spell very 'strong' he's been mastering for years now. He casted [O the god of flames , bless me with your flames of destructive, the flames of heaven that burns through hell, Fire Magic : Fireball] *a fist sized flame shot out* he then proudly offered to teach me.... His reason for the useless long ass line is that it strikes fear to her heart of enemies. But to me the only thing that would get strike is his heart if he took that long to cast. I know I would.

Well that's the story. I think I'll write a book about that. Maybe I'll call it 'Stop Using Stupidly Long Spells Idiots'. A catchy title indeed.

Where was I? Oh ya I enhanced my hearing for eavesdroppi... No wait I mean training. Yes for training. I heard my colleagues talking bullsh*t, not the first time but something caught my interest. They are talking about me this time. I've known I would happen from the first day I came to the Palace. I know I would talk sh*t about some one if he had my job.

One guy, let's call him Idiot A was saying how I don't deserve my job and that they would do better then me..... Something like that. Then the other, Idiot B said something.

Idiot B:"I heard something about why the Emperor is just keeping that time kid."

Idiot A:"What? What? I know there's a reason for keeping him, he's a good for nothing than keeps messes up spells. I did you heard how short his spell are? I can't believe his a tier higher than us, all because of this special magic."

Me:*rolling my eyes **takes out know book that says death note and records something in it*

Idiot B:" I know right? I heard that the Emperor is keeping him to find a way for the Princess to take his magic. Didn't you see how di didn't advance is time magic in 5 years?"

Idiot A yells:"that makes so much sense now!"

Idiot B:"shush, it's a secret form the high rankings. I don't think I should be disclosed." (A/N: dumbass, what do you think you're doing now?)

Idiot A:"your right"

Then, they got up and walked out. I cancelled my spell after that.

It all makes sense now. Why would they let me in the Palace to begin with. All the Royal Mages are nobles, even the knight working in the Palace are noble of descends. It's all a scheme to take my magic!

No! I'll need to confirm this first. But, how do I confirm this? Mind reading! I just need to get information from the 'high rankings' they talked about.

Searching for the spell from my grimoire, I couldn't find it. I don't think I have one or they don't want, Me to have one. Guess I'll have to steal one. No time better than the present. It's now or never. Putting on my stealth suit, it actually just something black and easy to move in. I went to the window, I casted [Shadow Magic: Presence Conseal] [Light Magic: invisibility]. I went to the Sacred Library, which contains all Spell in the Empire.

The Library that I was forbidden to enter was easier to infiltrate than I taught. There were only two guard at the entrance who was obviously slacking.

I found the spell quite easily. He's library is mor organised than it seem all spell are categorised by type then tier. Isn't that convenient?

Since I'm already here, why now take all the spell I need. How am I gonna do this you ask? Easy, I can just copy them. A Null Magic spell I created based on a printer from earth. It just simply make a replica of an object. The downside is that it only replicate the shape and appearance of the object so any mechanical function of the object cannot be replicated. Luckily for me, I can replicate books.

There are millions of grimoire, I'll take me all day to copy all of this. I'll have to take the most need first. I guess clone will do. [Null Magic : Clone] I created 100 clones.

I Finished copying all the Time Magic, one space magic, 4th to 8th tier Elemental Magic, some Derived Magic, and a couple of useful Null Magic grimoire. (A/N: I won't be listing them cuz I want to be able to add any spell at any time)

Why did I copy space magic if I can't use it? Cuz I still haven't given up on returning to Earth. Just mabye I'll have a chance. Actually, it's because I found a spell I could use in there.

It happened like this. I was copying books until I hit me. Literally! The book fell and hit my head! Jokes aside, I finished copying all the spells I need when I figured I needed someplace to store them. The first thing that came to mind is pocket dimensions. With that in mind, I look for something similar. I found one and red it aloud like a certain anime character.

[Space Magic : Gate of Vahalla] "this could be used..." I stopped when I saw a blue portal appear in front of me. It's a circle vortex and blue on both sides. When reach into it, hand passes though it but it didn't come out the other side. So, I guess it worked.

Before I could try another spell, I heard foot steps coming from the door. It sounded like someone was coming in. In a state of panic, I open portals above the pile of copied books and tried to suck them in. I'll get caught anyway, so why not? Surprisingly, it worked and All the books when in. I created a portal behind he and disappeared from the library.
