Chapter 3

All these while I was thinking that why was Henry treating me differently and he later let the cat out of the bag that he was pregnant with my bestie Ashley. I was so hurt since I never knew they can do that to me. I broke out and tears dropped my from my eyes uncontrollably. I wept bitterly which I can't count the numerous times I cried like a baby. After Henry left the house I was left in the house with the betrayer Ashley. She insulted me and called me foolish for putting my trust in human being. She later said something which hurt me so much. She called me barren which made me broke down. She later left the house leaving me all alone. I blamed myself for all that was happening to me since I didn't respected my mother and pushed to be with that b*tch. All of a sudden, something strike me and I decided to work at the restaurant to gain some money to move away from the state. The next day I woke up early and performed my duties and dressed up for the work Mr Gill offered. On my arrival the old man welcomed me warmly and introduced me to the other workers. I later found a friend who helped me to recover everything concerning the restaurant. I later went home and lo and behold met Henry at the door. He asked me where I was coming from and I told him it's none of his business. He slapped me when I said that. I ran into the house and cried. He followed me and decided to force me into saying where I was coming from. I again told him it's none of his business which he decided to hit me again. I stopped him by holding his hard. I run to the kitchen and he followed me. He came and grabbed me in the neck, slapped me and added punch to it. I didn't know what to do but suddenly got hold of a kitchen knife and stabbed him with it. He immediately felled on the ground which I was so scared since I killed someone. He was covered in a pool of blood which made me packed all my belongings and left the house to the restaurant . I met Mr Gill who was about to leave for his house. I asked him for help and he did without asking me what happened. On our arrival at his house he helped me get a room and cooked food for me. He later asked what happened and I told him everything. He asked me not to worry since he will helped me. For about three weeks I was hiding in Mr Gill's house and decided to resume the work. One Saturday evening,when everybody went home and I was left with Mr Gill, three bunch of men came to the restaurant. I told them that we have closed but Mr Gill told me to let them in. I could see how he was shivering seeing those men. He asked me to entertain them while he will be cooking for them. I did what he said and sang for the men . One of them who I guessed was their boss was dark skin tall and very handsome man. I felt for him when I saw him but something drew me backwards which I didn't know what to do. But at the same time I was falling for this sexy man but by bit.
