Meeting Licht

"It's so dark in here, and cold too. Did I forget to switch on the heater?"

I can't see anything. I can't move. I can't hear either; I'm just floating around in a dark void. Yet I'm still conscious. I'll probably wake up soon if I just wait. Soon, a bright light engulfs the darkness, and I'm in a room filled with flowers of different types.

"Welcome!! To the Divine Palace of the Gods! I am Lathos, the God of Creation. And I …"

A confident voice booms, but soon trails off. Looking around, I find an old man with both hair and beard white with a nervous look on his face. He jumps high and lands with his old figure in a bow. A dogeza.

"...I am so very sorry please forgive meeeee!"

Waterworks. He's sobbing like a spoilt brat, and it kinda ticks me off. With his head still to the ground, he explains further,

"I didn't mean *sniff* it, honest. *sniff* I was trying to learn how *sniff* to drive a car because you humans make it seem easy *sniff*. But I couldn't find the brakes!! Forgive mee!!"

I sigh, I died for such a stupid reason, and yet I don't feel panicked at all. But that doesn't mean I'm going to let that old geezer get away with a stunt like that.

"Hey, you-"

"I promise I'll make it all better. Don't worry, I'll make sure your next life is the best. I'll make it all better..."

He repeats to himself in a frenzy while running around and pushing a button that appears at each interval. A black hole appears under me and I fall into it as I lose consciousness. I don't know what's beneath me. I'm going to die, for the second time. Though, what is that light far before me...

Ugh, too bright. I'll kill whoever it is trying to get me blind, dammit. I slowly open my eyes and I see a large beautiful woman right above me. She scared me though. She has golden blonde hair and fair skin with blue eyes. The famous foreigner combo. She says a few words, but I do not understand it. It is not in Japanese. I struggle in her arms and to her side is a mirror. Her figure is much clearer and she holds a baby in her hands. The baby moves along with me and … hold the phone! Is that me???

I'm a fucking baby now!! Damn that old geezer! He didn't tell me any of this.

I have dark skin unlike my mother, but my hair is pure and white. A very unlikely combination. My eyes are blue though, making me look like a freak. Ah, it looks like I have the same dead fish eyes as before. Go figure. But nonetheless, my mother looked at me lovingly.

That damn... Who says I forgave you!! And why the heck am I a boy?! I'm pretty sure I had t*ts before I died. After raging for a few more minutes, I realized that I have been already placed in a crib. My mind travels back to my former home in Japan. It's not like anyone will miss me, I had no friends and my family basically doesn't care. They didn't neglect me, no. They just put a lot of their stupid expectations on me.

I was expected to get the highest marks, become the successor of my grandfather's dojo, and take over my father's company. It was very suffocating. The only light in my life was my little brother, but that all changed when he ran away from my parents and their expectations. I wish I was that brave, soon I became dead inside. I didn't care anymore, and later on, I was used as a weapon to kill at 17.

This is my second chance to live and I'm not going to waste it. No one will ever tell me what to do. My life will be mine and mine alone.
