At humanity's peak; technology, medicine, and science have transformed the world. After a new "miracle therapy" mutated into a destructive virus and killed millions of people, the world government decided that further genetic research was too dangerous Soon the world's focus shifted to an impending disaster. An approaching calamity threatened to send humanity into extinction and the great governments of the world band together to try and escape earth before the disaster arrived.
