Compromise

All of them waited patiently. The mysterious hybrid never told them the exact time this day that he would return. They started to talk to each other. Even the heads who were against each other tried to play nice.

"You all are very cheerful for some reason".

Finally, after waiting for nearly three hours, the same prideful voice appeared on their heads.

They never noticed the mysterious hybrid already came in front of them as if it is natural that he was there.

"Oh, all of you are already here. Hey, you even brought some extras. They better have some things that I want, or they should fuck off".

Everyone is bewildered because all of them came alone just like before. Although the mysterious person did not specify not bringing others along, they decided that the more people present here would just complicate things.

Arthur stared on a specific spot far away from his right. Sure enough, after being stared for a long time, four people came out of their hiding spots.

Arthur already knew the presence of these people for he discovered them lingering around their property last night. At first, he assumed they were enemies but there were no killing intent from them. He was interested so they followed them until they came out of the city. They just circled the whole city, visiting all of the residences of the participants present here, as if they were assessing something.

"Are you coming or not? I don't like flies without business with me. Do not annoy me or I will kill you with one slap."

One way to know a person's character or purpose is to get them angry. Their response will show how you deal with them.

These extras immediately ran to their position. Three of them were standing in front as if they were protecting the last person. They were all dressed in white. All of them took their hoods off to display their appearance.

"Princess Celica, what are you doing here?"

Chairman Otto instantly recognized the person. It was the second princess of the Flordelain Kingdom. She is a very famous young hybrid that can wield five skill seeds on battle. In terms of battle power, she can instantly enter the top ten of all the youths of both kingdoms.

Celica never bothered to answer Chairman Otto and gave the mysterious hybrid a slight bow.

"We are very sorry to barge here uninvited. I, too, have herbs of rare quality and I wished to join in this event. Sir, I hope you can forgive me and show an approval to my request."

Arthur observed other's expression but they showed nothing whether they agree or not. It is really laughable that they do not want to offend this teenage girl.

" We can already start. But first off..." Arthur pointed the hammer on his right hand towards the three persons accompanying the princess.

Without notice, he casted a lightning skill and electrocuted them. They fell face down without a fight.

"What are you doing? You can just tell me to let them leave. These are the Elite Guards of my kingdom." Celica is a little bit scared now. She never thought this would happen.

"Elite?? Well, they are not elite enough".

"They are still the Queen's Guards. You should have showed them a way out and not humiliating them like this. My Queen mother will not take this lying down."

"Oh is that so? Tell me then, little girl. Will your Queen still won't take this lying down when her head separates from her body?".

Everyone was clearly shocked by his statement. He does not care whether he offends the ruler of a kingdom. Who would blame him even if he kills the Queen? People will just pass it as an unfortunate event.

It was a clear message that they may have no guts offending this little girl, then the last being they would try to offend would be him.

Celica was clearly shaken up. If her mother Queen really died with just this moment of foolishness, then she won't forgive herself.

"Enough of this, I have wasted a lot of time on this stupid girl. Now, as per agreement, I will give you each a yellow skill seed with a flying ability, except for this stupid girl. I never promised her anything, and I do not have anymore of this."

Arthur tossed eighteen seeds towards them and they happily catched it. Celica did not protest this time and kept her silence.

"Show me the herbs that you have one by one. You don't have to take them out of the spatial ring, just give them to me and I will take out the things I want. Three favors for the one who gives me the best value. Don't worry. I would not cheat you and compensate you if I get something from your collection."

Arthur has another reason why he tasked them to collect herbs. He needed to know if they have

the herbs he needed for the agility and strength potion recipes. He was betting that they have hidden some specially the auction houses.

Chairman Otto went first and gave Arthur three spatial rings. He scanned them all, and to his surprise, there is one type of herb there that is needed for the agility potion. There were three stalks of that herb there and he took them all out. He returned the rings back to Chairman Otto who was clearly showing a face of victory.

Ryan Allison got up next and gave Arthur six rings. He found two types of herb there that is needed for the strength potion.
