I Let You Manage the Beast Taming Arena, Now Everyone Became Divine Beasts?

This is translation review, not novel review. If you are not familiar with it, webnovel has started westernizing most of the novels in 2021. This is awful practice that kills original novel. At best you get only names, places and organizations westernized and at worst you get half novel gutted and other half totally rewritten by translator. With best case scenario you get only names, places and organizations westernized which introduces plotholes cause while names are westernized, actual writing and character culture arent. You get chinese way of thinking, chinese places and organizations translated into most famous western (USA) alternatives and as a result you see absurdity. And with the worst case scenario, you are not actually reading original authors work, but some "translators" plagiarization cause half novel is removed (sometimes critical explanations) and other half is badly rewritten. And cause this requires so much work compared to normal translation, either webnovel is stealing original authors work and rewriting it (cause most of those novels dont come from qidian) or they are just using translators that dont know chinese so they are rewriting story with help of MTL (seen too many edited MTL translations lately on webnovel). overall any westernized novel deserves automatic 1 star review.

I really don't like novels were the MC breaks the entire world's system in the first chapters. Why even spent time establishing a world, not that copying pokemon is great, but still, why spent the time only to shatter everything to make the MC look OP? There are no twists, no suspense and no immersion. This is literally a stomp festival in written form. Might be fun as a fanfiction for pokemon, but as a stand alone work? Just terrible.

I find that this story is bad written and with little to Zero logic. Hoped it would be at least just a copy of a ,,certain,, anime but it's made in China so..

I’m a sucker for beast taming stories. I usually enjoy them regardless of quality. So, have I enjoyed this story so far? Yes. Is the story actually good? Uhh, not really… The premise of the story is somewhat interesting. The MC can tell stories from his past life to level up beasts. Then they contract with him out of gratitude. The problem is this feels like it was written by a middle schooler. The language and descriptions are very simple. There have been plenty of fights, but none of them have been interesting. The author doesn’t know how to write fight scenes and I’m not sure he’s even trying. It’s just Giles yelling out commands and then a short description of him winning for pretty much every battle. None of the characters have much personality and the MC is incredibly bland, so it’s hard to get invested in any of them. All in all, there’s nothing of much interest in this story. I can only recommend it to people like me who are willing to read anything regarding beast taming.

A novel inspired by Pokemon game, sure, let's see. MC is a trainer that regressed from his previous life full of failure, ok. Suddenly got the ability to evolve beasts by telling story.... wut? and all of them successfully evolved into OP beasts and become his loyal tamed beast? wut? Did you input cheat codes when starting this new game? And you expect it would be interesting? At least in Pokemon the MC starts from the bottom, and that what makes it exciting to play. The growth, the struggle, the adventure. You simply toss all of that out the window. Well ok, I'd throw this novel out the window too if I could.

(2+1+1+3+2)/5=1.8 the story is as bad as the title. a lot of cliched script and interaction. dumb development. and more. editing is good to be fair. just think Pokemon with all of Ash's dumb moments and multiply that by 10. you might be a little less annoyed than I am and maybe as disappointed

i somewhat liked it till 70th chapter, as mcs power was kinda cucked and weakened by plot and explanations. mcs previous pets being 'frozen' and leaving him without anything was meh as well.

Real Score: 3.5/5 (Because I Hate Webnovel's scoring system.) "A Genuinely Good Story that I'm not Going to Finish." Or "Pokemon for Teens, who want that Blood." First off, I'm going to say that I liked this book. And it was Ok. Would I recommend it? Not Really. But If you want some Teen-Pokemon action that isn't Cursed or a Edgelord's wet dream, then it's ok. Secondly, that's all I got. Look it's ok. Ya got cute Little Baby mons, and Rad looking Adult Mons. It's just pokemon set in a world where the story takes that concept seriously. And it's good up to ch 40. (because I don't want to pay for more, and can you really recommend something to anyone on that premise.) The story comes, dangerously, close to cultivation novel territory in the legendary beast ark but other than that, it's a fine little story.

Much of the story doesn't make sense - at first. Why is all the fighting turn-based? Why do beasts still live after being killed? Why are so many characters dumb? Why do beast tamers get a monthly allowance? Replace the phrase 'spirit beast' with Pokimons and it makes more sense. All the main characters are children.
