The next day.
Calden Castle.
Lanercoast.
The raven had flown high, leaving Calden Castle to the northeast and to the land of Northcrest, which was to be received by House Archibald. Everyone in Calden City had found out the news of Lord Edgar Helferich's death.
They mourned, grieved in their thoughts, and then expressed their sympathy by gathering in line to enter Calden Castle. Every house began to raise a black banner, and if there was none, they raised any black cloth or shirt.
Although they were not part of the ruling power in Lanercoast, their sense of caring was very high, as shown by their attitude and response after hearing the news of their former leader's death.
They placed Lord Edgar's body in a wooden coffin with flowers adorning the inside of the coffin, escorting Edgar's spirit to be sent to the afterlife with the ancestors of Lanercoast's leaders.
