Sol system, Sol star...
The modules containing the Soul Harvester container was shaking violently. The shaking seemed like to break the laws of physics and the universe itself. It shook really violently as the modules encasing the container was displaced from its original position but got pulled back by the magnetic field of the star named Sol.
The starbase command in charge of security and overall things related directly to the modules was on high alert as numerous different types of construction ships of varying sizes and functionality was seen orbiting the modules, ready to charge in and repair any dent that may have been the result of violent shaking if seen.
On a random construction ship who's orbiting the modules, the people inside saw a weird spider like cracks on the shell of the modules.
"Command this is CS-Zulu 01 come in..." calles the captain of the construction ship as he used his bright spotlight to ensure that the cracks really exist and not just something because of hallucinations.
As the bright spotlight illuminated the shell they saw a subtle reddish in color glow amidst the spider like cracks. The captain and the other workera frowned as the captain signalled for them to change into working clothes.
At this moment, the starbase command has answered.
"This is command, come in. Can you confirm your report with a photograph?" the voice of a technopriest was geard as it has this rather weird mechanical voice in it.
"Sure thing command, sending the photograph..." the captain said his response as the photograph was sent to the starbase command to look at.
At the starbase command, the commander technopriest immediately ordered for a copy ro be sent directly to his own augmentations so he can properly inspect it.
As he looked at it on the iris of his eyes he immediately noticed the subtle red glow protruding maidst the cracks as he frowned.
"A crack on an Auramite? This is unprecedented! How can this even happen? Auramite is absolutely durable that you can walk on the surface of a nuetron star without it habing any sort of dents! But now..." the technopriest was having a short circuit as he tried but failed to process how can there be a crack on the durable Auramite that's the material the modules is made of.
"I want the modules to be repaired! I don't care about how they'll do it! I want it repaired with all the cracks sealed!" shouted the technopriest as he rushed to a staff to bark the orders.
Bur everything seemed too late as cracks frew in size with the glow getting brighter, ans brighter, and brighter until it exceeded the brightness of the star.
It illuminated the entire Sol star system as the modules got dusted and broke under this intense brightness revealing the now contaminated container who's glowing a birght red color.
But just then, this container also showed cracks, multiple cracks who's glowing a dull white light as a mist like string coning out as it formed and condensed into a cloud like object floating into space.
Everyone who can see this seen can only have their jaws drop and pray that the God-Emperor save them fron anything that might happen in this moment.
At this time, the technopriest who's on the command room of the starbase was shaking greatly as he struggled to say his prayers.
"My lord and god the ominissiah, please help me..."
But unbeknownst to anyone with eyes, a rather weird net like field enshoureded the two weird objects as slight inconspicuous lighting crackles can seen.
...
Becuphelus, somewhere on thestring dimension below the Imperial Capital...
"My lord, are you sure about this? We can just conduct an exterminatus and eliminate them in one shot! No need to engage the enemy on a pointless battle." disagreed Constantin Valdor as he stressed the fact that they have all the capabilities to eliminate the enemy in one fell swoop by destroying not just the planet but the whole enemy capital star system.
But how will they do this? The Imperator Somnium, a battleship the size of a continent which weapons are basically the best of the best of the best the human mind has managed to develop.
This is removing the fact that the Speranza who has cannons that can shoot literal black holes and somehow control the time is also present on this fleet.
"Fine, are the ships ready?" said the Emperor as he just decided to back down and conduct the exterminatus. He may want to see all those space battles but this is reality. There are people at stake here and he won't let his thrist for entertainment become the reason for their death. It goes against his newfound moral and ethics.
But is destroying a whole star system really fine for him? You could say so. He understands that this is a war, a war where two sides will kill each other and only the last man standing and the most powerful will prevail.
"Yes your majesty!" saluted Constantin as he relayed the orsers to the staff who immediately went to work to accomplish the orders given by the Emperor.
However at this exact point in time the Emperor can't help but to think what will those now entrapped beings do? Will they try and break free to fight him?
Or will they possibly...
