Chapter 13

Meeting with Palaptine, 30 bby...

Hours slowly gone by and Palpatine is already heading back to his suite. He's expecting that the spy who's been following him managed to dechiper the contents which he left on his drawer. He decided to do a little test on them to ensure that they're actually from the Imperium and not just some bogus organization hired to follow him.

As he entered his suite, he immediately locked it and rushed to the locked drawer to open it. He was surprised to see it still locked as his expectations seemed to betray him. Nonetheless, he opened the drawer and looked at inside of the special bag he put there. There, he saw a piece of paper but this paper is different, it has a weird texture to it so Palpatine immediately took it out only to see an encrypted message. The encryption of the message is the same encryption he used with a little bit of changes.

He just chuckled as he deemed that the Imperium is teating him. He works on the decryption with the use of the technologies for decryption and after an hour or two, he has finally finished.

He read the message and itmade him immediately ecstatic and happy beyond description.

The message gave the address of a cafe on the lower levels of the city. Together with the address, the time was also included and the code word to be used as a sign of identity and a couple more instructions.

Sheev Palpatine immediately prepared himself for tomorrow's meeting.

Tomorrow has finally arrived. Palpatine quickly finished his workload as excitement can't be contained.Once he finished his workload he returned to his suite and prepared. He devised replies on possible questions that the man he'll meet will ask. But even if he racked his brains he can't think of any suitable replies on possible questions. So he just scratched that plan and answer on the spot. He also brought with him one of his lightsaber for protection.

He made his way to the meeting place stealthily and stopped on the back door of the cafe as per instructions. He gently knocked on the door and it was opened by a human wearing a chef's attire.

The chef just looked at Palpatine waiting for the code word to let him in.

"Imperator"

Whispered Palpatine gently which made the chef nod and move out of the way. Palpatine entered the building from the back door as he made his way to the kitchen and on the kitchen he saw a secret door that's colored red. He made his way to the door and entered it, following the instructions.

The room on the door is a simple one. It has a light on the center hanging with a table and two chairs. He perceived that there's someone sitting on the chair farthest from the door. It has the figure of a man but his whole presence is barely noticeable and he almost camouflages on the environment perfectly.

Palpatine slowly approaches the remaining chair and sits there as he clutches his lightsaber ready to defend himself.

"Good evening, I am Sheev Palpatine." introduced Palpatine to the man on his opposite which earned him a nod.

"I am part of the Imperium of Mankind. The Emperor has deemed your request of meeting reasonable Darth Sidious." answered the man with a perfect galactic standard language. This made Palpatine shocked for a moment as the reports that he got says that they use some sort of translation equipment or software. Nonetheless, he immediately regained his composure.

"As expected of the mysterious force capable of wiping out the Gungans in a day and the Trade Federation's fleet." gently clapped Palpatine.

"Your information network is pretty vast and great Darth Sidious." nodded the man in his Palpatine's opposite.

"You need not praise me. We know that your network has greater reaches compared to mine." replied Palpatine which earned him a small nod.

"Let's get straight to the point Darth Sidious. Why do you want to contact the Imperium?" asked the man with a serious voice.

"I've been fascinated by your ideals and beliefs. You massacring those Gungans as a supposed gift can be one of the best ways to instill fear against your enemies." commented Palpatine with a convincing voice as he described his "fascination" on the Imperium.

"So, I would like to ask, how does the Imperium think of having me aboard in your faction?" said Palpatine which earned him a chuckle from man in front of him.

Battle of Geonosis 22 bby...

A war on a galactic scale has been almost forgotten. This battle will mark the end of the Millennia long peace on the galaxy and start the turbulent times.

The Grand Army of the Republic. The clones of Jango Fett became the sword of the Republic against the separatists droid army. Lead by the Jedi Grand Master himself the green man Yoda.

This battle by far are considered to be the most important battle that occurred in the whole clone wars timeline. The first barrage of punches threw by the republic was seen here.

Before the whole battle, a large number of jedi was sent to the planet to rescue the imprisoned Obi-Wan and his student Anakin Skywalker together with Anakin's soon to be wife Padme.

Included in this jedi strike group is Mace Windu himself. A great member of the jedi order.

As their ships slowly landed steadily on the planet Mace together with more than 200 other jedis went out to save their imprisoned brothers.

But everything didn't went as planned for the jedi strike group.

"This matter should be easy." commented a newly promoted jedi knight as he confidently walked out of their starships.

"You're right, I'm sure once they saw us light our lightsabers they'll pee themselves and surrender." replied another newly promoted jedi knight as she chuckled lightly.

The group slowly made their way to the alleged location of the imprisoned brothers.

There at the arena, the trio can be seen to be avoiding the creatures set to kill them on a gladiator match. They managed to keep themselves safe by a strand of hair just enough to buy time for the strike group to show up and save them.

The local populace of the planet who became audiences chose to flee as they saw the strike group of the jedi Came. They scattered all throughout the exits, rushing to exit and save their lives. Count Dooku on the other hand saw this and just deployed the new and improved battle droid army of the seperatists council.

Tens then hundreds then thousands of battle droids suddenly rushed towards the arena to face the jedi strike group.

Some of the members of the strike force who's only promoted to jedi knight recently just lit up their lightsabers and readied to fight as they thought it will be only destroying tin cans.

Their overconfidence caused them catastrophy. The blaster rifles of the droids when shot alone was easily parried by the jedis but the droids firing them in large quantities will prove difficult to even be defended even by the Jedi Grand Master himself.

Jedi after jedi succumbed to death as countless blaster bolts hit them on all sides as they struggled to defend themselves.

As jedi slowly lose their numbers everyone still fought bravely to the end. Even if they have sustained wounds they fought bravely until they can no longer move and just wait for a blaster bolt to end their life.

The battle droids slowly closed in on all sides as the strike group was forced to regroup on the center and create a circular formation.

"Damn it! How did it end like this?" questioned a jedi knight as he clenched his lightsaber tightly and deflected innumerable blaster bolts heading on his way.

"Stay close and protect each other!" commanded Mace Windu as he deflects a blaster bolt back to a random battle droid.

At this moment a certain Mandalorian bounty hunter has charged to Mace Windu, intending to kill him. Mace Windu sensed this and easily parried the sword used by Jango Fett as Jango retreated a couple of steps to create some space between them.

"You, are you that bounty hunter named Jango Fett?" questioned Mace Windu as he deflected a blaster bolt from a droid easily.

"Tsk" Jango just charged towards Mace Windu firing blaster bolts from his pistol as he deemed a close range combat is not favorable for him but this time the Reek suddenly made Fett his target who was floating in the air within inches from the ground doing acrobatic stunts. The Reek caught the floating Jango and destroyed his jetpack immediately as Jango was thrown like a ragdoll on the sandy floor. But Jango Fett managed to immediately balance himself and kill the Reek with a blaster bolt directly on its head.

Mace Windu took this opportunity to defeat Jango as he charged the slightly injured Jango and thre a barrage of strike towards him. Jango managed to evade most of the strikes but a couple of slashes got him and did a fair bit of damage to his armor as he created a distance between them through firing blaster bolts.

Mace Windu shrugged it off easily and suddenly gained speed as he saw that Jango was trying to reactivate his jetpack. This move of Jango proved catastrophic as it backfired giving Mace Windu the chance to kill him which he did. Mace decisively decapitated Jango Fett which disturbed even Count Dooku.

The jedi reformed their circle formation with a little over than 50 remaining from the original number. The losses was catastrophic to say the least.

At this time, Count Dooku stepped out of the vip viewing balcony to give the jedis a chance to live.

"Jedis, you have been surrounded by the droid army it's either you surrender to us or face death!" offered Count Dooku as he looked at everyone with a sarcastic pity.

"No! We would pick death over becoming bargaining chipa" growled Mace Windu in reply which just earned him a dry chuckle from Count Dooku.

"If that's what you wish then I'll grant it." Count Dooku waved his arms and turned his back as he ordered for the droids to kill the remaining jedis. But at this time a man wearing a hooded robe suddenly jumped out of his hiding place and soar high up in the air.

The battle has started as Vulkan just go with the flow believing that he doesn't need to risk his cover as what looks like elite soldiers has already arrived. But to be sure he just hidden on some part of the arena away from all the fighting closely observing It. He first thought that everything would be easy for the strike group as they carry the feeling of elite fighters within them but as the battle slowly progressed this prived otherwise. Now, Vulkan would no way risk the lives of the remaining humans.

Vulkan soars high up the arena and delivered a superman punch from the air to the ground.

The sounds of concrete being destroyed was heard by everyone including Dooku as they looked at where it came from. But as Dooku decided to look up what saw him immediately frightened him. A man around 10ft tall with glowing eyes and his whole body blocking the sun in the eyes of Dooku.

The man landed on the middle of the droids as he started to wreak havoc. This made the remaining jedis momentarily confused and shocked especially Obi-Wan as he originally thought that the man must be powerful but not this powerful. He guessed that he has capabilities beyond normal humans but to shrug off blaster bolts like it's nothing is what came a shock to him and everyone.

Blaster bolt after blaster bolt hit Vulkan but he just shrugged it off as if it's nothing. The bolts didn't even managed to scratch his skin as he destroys droids after droids after droids with no care in the world. Dooku has long since departed in a hurry due to fear as he thought of such a matter must be reported immediately to his master.

The jedis also fought back the droids and a couple of minutes later they managed to destroys all droids except for some others who escaped after the retreat order was given.

At this moment Obi-Wan rushed to his student's side to check up on him.

"Anakin, Anakin, are you okay?" asked Obi-Wan as he examines the body of Anakin.

"How about you Padme? Are you okay?"

"We're fine master, just a little scratch" replied Anakin as he slowly stood up and brushed off the sand.

Mace Windu at this time slowly walked towards Vulkan with caution as he didn't deactivated his lightsaber.

"Who are you? Why did you help us?" questioned Mace Windu as he ensured a good distance is present between him and Vulkan.

"I'm Vulkan"
