I Am The Demon

In the immortal realm, or also called the 'Heaven'.

The wide wings of the cranes gracefully cut through the sky and broke through the sea of clouds, revealing a kingdom, which is grander than the ones that can be seen in the mortal realm. But, this actually isn't a kingdom, but the land of the immortals, or is called the immortal realm, in which the immortal lords which many mortals worship lived.

The day is bright and the weather is good. Many immortals walk on the fertile land that is brimming with spiritual energy. Some female immortal lords giggled when they saw the male immortal lords pass by them and nodded, which made them also blush. Some immortal lords saw the scene and just smiled before resuming chatting with the other immortal lords.

But, this harmonious atmosphere was suddenly broken when a group of immortals arrived carried by their respective mount beasts.

"Damn it! That Su Moyu done it again!" one of the immortal lords can't help but curse due to anger. His face is alternating between red, black, and white. This shows how angry he is!

The immortal lords who are chatting looked at each other. Su Moyu… it is him again! They thought and sighed.

"What did he do this time, Yue-xianjun*?" another immortal lord asked, looking concerned.

Yue Qinghan turned with his face entirely black. "Su Moyu raised an army of dead!" he said.

"WHAT?!" everyone was shocked.

"This can't go on! I have to report to the immortal lord!" Yue Qinghan ignored them as he marched towards the palace.

"Yue-xianjun! Please wait!" Gao Weijun called and sighed as he ran after Yue Qinghan, followed by the immortal lords that arrived with them.

The other immortal lords looked at each other before running after them, wanting to see the excitement – err, the problem, which they didn't expect would be so severe that caused a war between the immortal realm and the demon realm.

Su Moyu, a demon supreme, looked at the corpses walking on the barren land. He couldn't help but sigh.

"My lord." A subordinate called and knelt. "The spies said that someone from the immortal realm will be coming to the demon realm to kill you." He said and clenched his fists.

"I knew it…" Su Moyu muttered and bitterly smiled.

"My lord!" the subordinate cried. "Please, you have to escape! We all know that you have nothing to do with any of these – " he said.

But, Su Moyu just shook his head. "It is not just the matter of raising the dead." He said.

"It is because they envy the lord, isn't it?" the subordinate's eyes turned red in anger.

Everyone knows that Su Moyu was an immortal before. He is extremely talented, and many mortals worshipped him. This caused dissatisfaction from the other immortals as they also felt envy. So, when Su Moyu was poisoned with Demon Heart Blood, they know how much the hypocritical immortals rejoiced since Su Moyu has fallen from grace and turned into a demon.

But, who would expect for Su Moyu to become a demon supreme? So, these immortals just find excuses to persecute their lord!

"It is fine. I have been used to it." Su Moyu heaved a sigh.

"My lord! They wanted to kill you this time!" his subordinate cried.

Su Moyu turned and just smiled. "I know. This is inevitable." He said as he walked towards the door.

"My lord - !" his subordinate called and was about to stop him when he flung his sleeve. "Ugh!" he cried when his body hit the pillar, before he fell on the floor unconscious.

Su Moyu sighed. "Someone." He called.

The other subordinates immediately came out, and their eyes are red from tears. "My lord." They called and respectfully bowed.

"I may not be able to come back later…" Su Moyu said and sadly smiled when he saw their expressions. "You go and seek shelter with Sang Que. He will be able to take care of you when I'm gone." He told them.

"We don't want to!" they said and finally can't help but cry.

But, Su Moyu ignored them and just left. His back will be the last image that they will see of him.

Su Moyu is a demon supreme and is feared by the three realms – the immortal realm or the Heaven, the Demon realm, and the mortal realm. Forced to fight against the Heaven who wanted to kill him for 'justice' because he was greatly feared by the mortals who thought of him as a scourge in the mortal realm, he went all-out with his fight against the supreme immortal lord. But, he didn't know that he would be stabbed on the back at the most critical time, and by his most trusted friend at that!

But, just when he thought that he was going to die, and he felt extremely unwilling – after all, he didn't want to lose against the Heaven, who are all hypocrites! Maybe something has heard of his complaint, since when he woke up – to which never thought he would ever do again, he found himself in a strange world.

Su Moyu's delicate brows twitched when he heard noises around him. 'noise'? He thought as his eyelids moved.

"Oh, my god! Is he a cosplayer?! Is there a cosplay event near here?!" the passersby excitedly exclaimed as they immediately left.

Su Moyu slowly opened his eyes when he heard footsteps. He moved his body, which felt very heavy. It is understandable since he has just fought against someone from the immortal realm. He has suffered heavy injuries.

But, what he didn't expect was that after his eyes finished adjusting to the light, he froze. He looked blankly at the countless unfamiliar vehicles speeding off the road, to which he never knew would be this concrete. The buildings around him also looked towering, and there were some strange lights blinking and showing beautiful pictures.

"What…" he muttered under his breath as he stared at his strange surroundings with his eyes wide. Where am I? He thought. He got his answer half an hour later, when someone approached him with a kind smile on his face.

"Do… you need help?"

… I do… really, really do! Su Moyu thought, wanting to cry.

Meanwhile, in one of the most prestigious universities in the country, a handsome young man is sitting inside the library. Behind his black-framed eyeglasses is a pair of dull eyes.

Duan Yuan, who was buried in the sea of knowledge, suddenly felt the badge of his lapel chain that is hidden inside his clothes suddenly became hot. He touched his chest as his expression changed. This is a sign of a demon! The hotter the badge is, the more powerful this demon is!

And right now, the badge is very hot, almost searing his chest!
