She opens her eyes and knows immediately something is wrong. Nothing is familiar. The dark cloth, shutting out all but a tiny sliver of sunlight, what is happening? This hard surface.
This isn't her room.
With eyes still groggy from sleep or whatever. She is feeling weak, she relies on all her other senses to comprehend where she is, but she has no idea. She gather all her strength in her arms and pushed the ground to stand up. She was wobbling, her eyesight was becoming more clear, and as she became more alert, it only takes a few seconds to work out why this is.
She's bleeding, her head is injured and blood is dripping.
Forcing her eyes to focus, she looked around, its raining, she took a step ahead and an arrow came straight marching towards her eye, she rolled the other side, and the arrow passed scratching her cheeks. She ran and ran and ran, her chest is in a storm and her mind a mess. Huffing, sweating, dashing into trees. The arrows keep coming. Ankle twisted, she rolled down, and her muscles react, not fast enough this time. The arrow skids across her right calf. It almost felt like her leg is on fire. Trying to remove herself from the horror.
Everything went black. Her heart was beating fast. She opened her eyes and sat up. A drop fell on her hand, it was sweat, not blood. Her body ached, and she hissed.
"You are awake?"
"You? Wha-what's going on?"
"DON'T YOU REMEMBER? LUE?"
Her head is aching, she closed her eyes as she put her hands on it.
"LUE!! RUN!!" someone screamed, as the sword went inside out. A letter in which it's written: "GAME OVER".
Crossing thousands of moments in her mind. They burned every ounce of heart. Tears ran through her cheek.
What if, she never accepted the invitation?
What if, she didn't follow the system?
Great education and support, nice classmates, what a laugh.
The future, the time, the fate they have, can it be changed?
The time might flow in a different direction. Will it be good or bad?
Because when you are a guest here the hounds are out for blood. You can be the hunter or be the prey.
"I think, I might be a murderer."
"Let the HOURS OF DARKNESS begin!"
