Leaving Solarian

"How are you feeling?"

"Just a bit tired but nothing too harmful."

Luocha looked at Yuuto who was still sitting down by the tree as he tried his best to calm down the shaking of his body.

See as this was a result of over exerting his body, Luocha kneeled down in front of Yuuto and held out a golden necklace that had a shimmer of green light flowing out of it.

Dangling the necklace near Yuuto's body, the green light began to surround him as feelings of energy began to overtake the exhausting fatigue that he previously had..

"Although it isn't much I should at least heal you up for helping me fight."

Yuuto stared at the energy that was slowly revitalizing his body and a white flash shined in his eyes.

"Thank you."

"No need to thank me."

Opening his palms and rotating his shoulders, Yuuto felt like his body was in the same condition it was before he fought against Yorte.

"So what are you going to do with him?"

Seeing that he was fine, Yuuto pointed towards the bundled lump of branches that had wrapped Yorte up, thus immobilizing him.

Luocha gave a small glance at the bundle lump and an unknown glint appeared in his eyes.

"I still have business with him since the other Wingweaver that came with him passed away. So I need him to be, let's say a 'guide' for us to complete the agreement we had."

"Poor dude."

Understanding the underlying tone in his answer, Yuuto didn't say anything further as it looked like Yorte was in for an unfortunate time being with them.

"Are we going?"

"Ah, Miss Jingliu welcome back."

Hearing the monotone voice from behind them, the two guys watched as Jingliu approached them with her bright red eyes looking right at them.

"I guess we should since the camp would start to get restless if we delay."

"I see."

Jingliu agreed with Luocha's reasonings and after nodding her head she turned her attention to Yuuto.

"How sad. We just met and it looks like you guys are leaving."

"...."

Yuuto smiled as he felt the hard gaze Jingliu gave off and felt somewhat accomplished that his previous thought of seeing her eyes under the blindfold came true.

"Are you going to wear that blindfold again?"

"Very likely."

"It's a shame, you look better without it."

"...Is that a compliment?"

"Take it how you will."

A strange feeling arose from Yuuto when he saw how Jingliu's facial expression shifted and he tried his best not to laugh as the next thing that would happen would definitely be a sword impaling him.

*Ring~

"Hmm? What's March calling me for…"

Feeling a vibration from his pocket, Yuuto saw March's name pop up and answered that call.

"Hello, What's u—-"

[Yuuto!? Are you alright!? Where are you?]

"Whoa calm down a bit. What's wrong?"

[There was a big explosion near the center of the city so they're having the public move far away from that area. I'm with with everyone else right now but Dan Heng said that you went somewhere. ]

Yuuto looked around and saw the various craters and frozen bits of land that appeared and wondered how March would react if he said that he was involved in it.

"I heard the explosion but I didn't think much of it since I was far away from where it happened."

[Are you sure..?]

"Yeah, I'll come meet you guys."

[Hurry alright!]

Saying a few more words to March, Yuuto handed up the phone and looked at Jingliu and Luocha.

"It looks like this is where we would be parting."

Luocha wore a faint smile and he started to lift the trapped Yorte from the ground.

"It was quite the experience."

"Let's just hope you don't encounter anything like this again."

'That's going to be something hard to do.'

Yuuto thought about beings that will eventually appear and felt like this was nothing compared to what's about to come.

"It was nice to meet the two of you. I hope to see you guys again."

Taking one last glance at them, Yuuto waved his hands and disappeared from the two's vision.

"Let us go Miss Jingliu."

Luocha gestured to Jingliu who was still looking at the direction of where Yuuto left and noticed the small diamond-like crystals that were scattered around the field.

Lifting one off the ground and placing it in her hands, the scent it gave off made her mind clearer as the Mara that plagued her mind suddenly turned calm.

"Should I just kidnap him and bring him with me…."

"Miss Jingliu?"

Luocha who heard her quiet mumbles started to feel a bit worried for Yuuto.

Taking a few crystals that were on the ground and placing them in a glass jar, Jingliu and Luocha began to walk towards the Wingweavers camp without hesitation, as if they had already known its location beforehand.

"It looks like they left."

Walking onto the now empty field was Yuuto who looked at his surroundings and made sure to double check that now one was here.

After leaving Jingliu and Luocha first, Yuuto only walked a few blocks before staying in place as he wanted to get something that was left behind on the field.

"Let's see if his body is still here."

Walking towards the large crater, Yuuto saw the disfigured body of Jingliu's opponent as he now had multiple injuries that looked to be very fatal.

Yuuto looked at the body closer and saw how an abundant number of fragments just floated around the dead body.

Waving his hand the fragments began to move around before floating towards Yuuto's hand where they all got absorbed into his mental library.

"Majority of it was just his life experiences but there were a few memories I could potentially use…"

His mind began to organize the abundant amount of memories that he suddenly absorbed and Yuuto took note of the ones that looked useful to him.

"They said that they were near a store by the entrance.."

Walking out of the crater and finding an exit that had no one in sight, he ran towards an alley where he tried to find a good spot to blend into the crowd.

After waiting for some time he was given the chance as he followed a group of people that was being guided out towards the front entrance of the city in order to get away from the commotion that happened at the park.

"Yuuto! Over here!!"

After looking around the area for the name of the store March had given him, he was able to see March waving her arm around as she called out to him from inside the store.

"It looks like you got here safe."

"I was pretty far from that explosion so I was alright."

Welt nodded head as he listened to what Yuuto had to say.

"Luckily it said that the explosion was contained within the park so there wasn't that much damage to the surrounding area. '' Himeko chimed in as she told the group what she heard.

"If the damage was any bigger we would have needed to delay our departure by a few days to follow this planet's protocols."

"So are we leaving now?" March raised her hand as she passed some snacks around that she had bought prior.

"We can still stay for a while longer if you want."

Hearing Himeko's words, March looked at Yuuto and Dan Heng who shook their heads saying that they didn't need to do anything else at this place.

"Hmm… Let's just go. I want to eat some of Pom Pom's food."

"If you say so."

Himeko led the group towards the exit as they were now trying to board the Express as they were now done with what they needed to do.

As they walked, conversations about what they did took place as Welt and Himeko were both curious.

"I went on a small food trip after leaving that bookstore."

"Oh? I did hear that some areas had some high ratings when it came to the food stalls."

"As they should! The food here was really good for just costing a few credits."

Yuuto recalled some of the stalls he went to and Dan Heng took his attention of his book since the way Yuuto described it made him a bit hungry.

"I also learned more about the history of this planet from one of the locals so it was pretty interesting. It was nice to hear about how they managed to turn a dead planet into one that's now habitable."

"I agree, terraforming the meteor that destroyed the planet was a good way to revitalize the surroundings by using that energy."

"Meteor? I thought it was a Stelleron that made the planet go into a harsh drought."

"I never heard of a Stelleron being the cause of Solarian's previous state."

Welt looked a bit confused when he heard Yuuto's words which in turn was the same for the latter.

"I also never heard of there being a Stelleron from this planet's history."

Dan Heng chimed in as he read through some of the terminals from the bookstore and never once was there a mention of a Stelleron Yuuto was talking about.

'That old lady didn't look like one to be lying though…'

Yuuto tried to recall the memory of his conversation with the old lady and there was no instance of lying as her face showed genuine emotions whenever she talked about it.

While he continued to wonder if the old lady's words were a lie, they eventually reached the Express and began to start as they traveled towards their next stop.

Herta's Space Station.

'I guess it's finally time to meet the Trailblazer.'

Yuuto thought as he looked outside the window and watched how Planet Solarian slowly became smaller and smaller.
