[Bonus chapter] One Being

He looked almost dead as he laid in the bed with a pipe running into his mouth to help him breathe. His nose, cheekbones and eyes were so swollen and terribly blue. A stitched cut ran down his left eyebrow that just looked as angry and swollen as everything else on his body. 

They had tried their best to clean up the blood on his body but even that did not look like enough. His hair was a short buzz cut as a medium sized patch was on the right side of his head. Multiple wires went in and out of his arms as multiple machines beeped as they also helped him breathe. 

He had been changed into a white medical gown and covered with a hospital blanket as he laid there completely unresponsive to the world. 

"Oh my beautiful boy," I cried as I walked over to the seat closest to him and looked to Doctor Otto, "may I touch him?"

"His hand," he nodded, "just be gentle with him. I'll give you some privacy."
