He who is cursed

"That day" began like any other of its time, the streets were bustling with those of all race and religion, A joyous era beyond the days of war and famine; violence was a thing of the past. Some may say this was the first true era of peace, the advancement of mankind was thought to be inevitable… perhaps beyond what we ever deemed possible. However those days would never come to pass, and "that day" would leave many looking back on their serene memories, wondering how something so cruel transpired. In their ignorance they were blind, cruelty of any form was so far behind them it was akin to a myth. Had mankind remembered its tainted history, instead of hiding the darkness of man, "that day" may never have come into fruition…

As war had almost been forgotten, so too had the battles that were waged and the lives that were taken. Hate and anger stayed buried deep beneath the ground, festering, waiting…
